Well I just dug out Zoe Lucker's Little Black Dress workout video that a friend of mine leant me years ago (she still has one of my videos too) and did the warm-up and dance workout after moving all of the furniture. My knees hurt now, so goodness knows what I'll be like tomorrow. Have showered and washed my hair, so feeling a little bit more human now. Will just run the hoover over the floor where the furniture has been cleared before dressing myself. (ever the flylady)

Boys room nearly done, all toys now gone and the boys think it is great:eek: well i'll see if they still think that in a weeks time. Room hoovered so just need to sort the clothes and wash the window and make the beds.

Then i'll start DD's room she now believes the toys are going.

    Right i'm away again.

    AnW'sMum mmmmmmm cocktails.:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

AAAHhhhhhhhhhh... I feel so much better..

I sent a VERY stroppy email to the Freecycle director.. :D
I made 2 extremely stroppy phone calls to carphone warehouse.. Then sent them an equally stroppy email

And now I have the boys gutting their room, both WM's on and both TD's as it is pouring with rain and I have more washing than a large Chinese province!

    DD2 is cleaning out bunnies.

    I will have order!

Dusty Did you enjoy the BB final? happy with the winner? :D

Yeah it was quite a surprise, I'd have liked Sarah to win I think, I didn't have any strong views but I'm happy it was Miss nice - was there a favourite at the bookies?

Anyone experienced cyclelanes on pavements instead of roads? Good or bad? Dangerous or safe?

    Off to research that question...

We have some which are split down the middle half pavement/half cycletrack - they are not where houses/shops are and work well. I cycle on pavements here as the roads are narrow but I go slow and would always go onto the verge to pass a pedestrian.

  • Oh dear. I always peg things in a certain way and have to have the same colour pegs on one item. Is there any hope left, I ask myself?

Toots glad you had a good time last night and I hope you got your parcel ok

An'W'sMum welcome home hun and I hope you thoroughly enjoyed yourself

I carry DS3's lunchbag and bookbag home. He likes to scoot and run and play with his friends on the way home. It is all wide pavement, quiet road so not dangerous. I carried the other 2's aswell when they were at primary and it was never a problem when they started going on their own to take their stuff.

DS2 has been for his biometric assessment and some of his joints are over flexing - sorry can't think of the term - like double jointed, which explains why the poor child can't walk in a straight line! He is fine though and will just get new insoles. I treated him to lunch in the sports club which he loved.

Kids all stripped their beds earlier so I'm going up to hoover now.

I can't believe where the day has gone. DS1 at cricket and the other two have emptied OH's loose change jar and are bagging it all up.
