Vanilla - when we told MIL her reaction was "OH.....right" Said in a fashion like we'd just told her the bus was running late or something..... not that her only son was about to be a dad! She then looked round the room and there was a deadly silence from her and FIL.....
She then proceeded to say "so whens the wedding? I DO presume your getting married now.." At this point i should point out she is the ex-national president of the union of catholic mothers... so her son impregnanting a C of E/atheist girl 9 years his junior before they were married was probably not the best news:rotfl:
Sarah is now nearly 5 months old and EVERY time we visit without fail we get asked have we arranged the wedding....and beverytime we answer "2010 possibly, because we need to save up" and she says that is too far off incase she dies........ i shall refrain from posting publicly what usually goes through my head when she says that  :rotfl: :rotfl:
Anytime i say to my mum guess what she always say's your not pregnant again.:rotfl: My sister and me where down 2 weeks ago and my sister said she was gonna be an auntie again well my parents stopped eating there dinner and looked at me, she was talking about her fella's sister.
PIL will be abit funny for awhile but they are everytime and i don't know why they be because both come from big family's.
Right been to shop and get another cuppa then lit the fire, kick hubby out and make a start.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Hi
Still no flying yet. I still have the bathroom, utility room and the bedrooms to do.
I have spent the best part of an hour figuring out how i get my photos from my camera to my printer.:o I managed to do it but then the pictures came out a funny colour, my fault for buying cheap ink.
So i have to go and get some proper ink and more photo paper:mad: as well as Ds1's rugby boots. i think today is going to be an expensive one.
Do you think i could put the ink on expenses? I have about 50 photos to print plus i've just printed off 30 posters. The Toddler group can't really afford it but then neither can i.0 -
I shall catch up on the end of last weeks thread but at 62 pages here already I shall give this one a miss!
I need a round up of the news pleaseOff to get dressed and some lunch and will be back later

Welcome to the thread Mrs B - 3 of you in Hampshire now (Froddington, greenbee and you) and I'm just up the coast in West Sussex - any room on your ark for me?
Glad your first week went well Froddington and hope you've caught up on your sleep.
Holiday looked fab AnW'sMum - hope you had a great time.
Polkadot your cake was brilliant - thanks johanne for posting it on here - I'm not a member of facebook.
Does anyone have a nice recipe for coffee and walnut cake that they've tried and tested as I always order this in tearooms and have some left-over walnuts to use up? I really like the coffee icing that they use too.
Well posting this quickly before the connection is lost again.
