OK wrt to the noisy stuff. There's an event going on v. close to where I live. (unfortunately not just in next door's house so I can't do the tit for tat bit). The event is going on all weekend it seems. I have had neighbours phoning me up complaining about it almost constantly this evening.

I have spoken to the council three time now on their emergency number. The council chap said he'd spoken to the organisers and they assure him there's absolutely no amplified music whatsoever apparently. Then why are we hearing the thump thump thump from nearly one quarter of a mile away? I ask him. One neighbour has already walked out there and asked to speak to the organiser. The organiser declined to speak to her.

According to the Council chap, the Parks people are too busy dealing with flooding elsewhere to be able to help. I said that OK, maybe he needs to rethink who he calls because I feel he needs to phone the Police soon to prevent a breach of the peace by local residents. He then said he'd phone Events.

I have now committed myself to walking over there shortly with my camera to take evidence of the amplification which, allegedly, isn't there. I'm sure the dog will enjoy the unexpected walk!

    Wish me luck ladies...

I have, or had:mad:     on my PC a copy of the interactive whiteboard programme that I use to prepare resources for work - especially maths
and for some reason a file is missing it won't open

I am seriously seriously p***** off. I will have to traipse to work, borrow the B***** CD uninstalll and then reinstall it. Like I haven't anything better to do.

In particular I use it for Numeracy so that I can take in prepared boards (and do fancy things which keep the kids attention)

It's all a waste of B***** time. Pointless.
I have no clue why it has gone - all I have changed is that I have defragged.

    Valli is NOT HAPPY.
