Shame we're going on a Sunday...only thing is...i've not been on a Sunday since 'that day!'!!:rotfl: I really, really want the workstation though. I could keep my computer, my diary, my phone, the music system...everything there all the time...very professional....... but i'll have to go THERE! :rotfl: xxDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

D'you know I KNOW I could never lift a hand to someone else's child...
I could cheerfully (shh you don't know who's reading this) my own sometimes!:rotfl::rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

And I would have lunch hours to go mooching round the shops in...
And finish at 5 every day...
And not work at the weekend...
And I could surf...
And keep up with the thread...
And have coffee on my desk...
And not have to do playground duty when it's cold...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

There's one child at our school who I could quite happily wish a million ill ends...actually, no, it's his mother who needs squashing under an oversized wellington boot. The child would probably be fine without his mum! xx0

Lol, but you'd miss those lovely little darlings with their snotty noses and snotty mothers and all those ungrateful little brats smiling up at you in the morning ... ok, you're right!!!!0

I am a good flylady - me and DH just spent a romantic evening.....
........... defrosting the freezer and fridge :rotfl: while it was run down and slightly empty. Don't we know how to live it up.
I now know what food we have, and have just planned a food shopping list and a menu plan, including what purees i will make for ds2 this weekend. That will then mean the freezer is full again, and hopefully with a very itemised shopping list like buy only 2 parsnips, the budget should be kept to.
I need to make a batch of Twinks hobnobs, and my special chocolate cake this weekend for DH's birthday on Monday. This weekend should also be fairly busy as we have my friends little boys birthday party, and i need to pop to the parents house as they will have birthday cards and stuff for DH.
I think my focus for the weekend needs to be sorting out DS1's new room so he can actually get into it, otherwise we will never get DS2 into the cot and i will never sleep properly ever again. (going on the theory now that i might be disturbing him).
soappie hope that noise gets sorted - it is pants when that happened.
polka that was a great cake - i am useless at decorating but my choc cake is apparently the best ever according to my nephews and my friends from uni. I'm going to attempt to make one for DS1s birthday next month. Watch this space -i'll post a piccie if it is any good. Or maybe i'll post it anyway as it will be 1/2 term and you will be ready for a laugh:eek:
valli i hate electronic teaching stuff, but at the same time it is a necessary evil. It causes so much stress though doesn't it. IS it anything you can download online?
Right, think i am going to get on with reading my book for a bit before bed.
Night all.

Don't - oh please don't - get me started.
Like the mums who pick up little darlings and then carry their stuff for them. The kids who come out of school with 'can such-and-such come round? Now? (Mrs. Valli tells the kids that this is not the time and place to make arrangements like that...it's not fair on mum/dad/whoever when hopeful friend is standing there - am uniquely placed to comment!) the mums WHO BRING A DUMMY TO STICK IN THE MOUTH OF 4&5 year olds) (nothing against dummies DD had one - wish DS had then he wouldn't have thumb sucked!) who hand over sweeties...who allow their kids to interrupt adult converations and behave like brats without remonstration....I'm with Pigpen on this one - and then Pigpen's kids are praised for good behaviour or it's commented on to Mr and Mrs Pigpen. THEY BEHAVE BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEEN PROPERLY BROUGHT UP - so it's hardly surprising.
Mind you I went to Morrison's tonight and pointed out to the customer help desk girl - who, it turns out, is off to Uni, that it is spelled forty not fourty.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

And snot?
I used to be quite polite.
Now I give them a tissue and tell them in no uncertain terms to have a good blow - then come back to discuss the sum!
And I used to give the boy whose parents - and hence himself - were keen garlic eaters Tic Tacs! _ Just have one of these...
He would ask if his breath smelled.
And I would say...
