OMG you've just spelt out all my pet hates! My two have carried their own bags since they started school in foundation. They say it's not fair because half their friends throw their bags at their parents when they come out of school If my two ask for someone to come and play in front of the person they're banned from having anyone to tea for a week! We have one mum who brings a stroller for her 7 year old to go home in (there is nothing wrong with the child's legs and they live two minutes from school!). Then there are the parents who hang round by the door so they can chat, laugh and joke with the teachers. My DS's teacher cracks me up though....dd has already had her....she came over to me in the playground and whispered....'no brownie points for you - you've not tried to impress me yet!' You teachers have everyone sussed!! xx

Whose office are you in? It's not mine! My team are all logging in between 7.30 & 8am (I can see them :D ), and although they might, if they're lucky, find time for a lunchbreak, and leave sometime between 4pm and 7pm, they have been known to answer the phone to me after 11pm if we're busy.

My blackberry wakes me up at 6am every day (including weekends, although I have been known to ignore it), and although it switches off at 10pm, I was still doing paperwork at 2am today.

When you locate this mythical office, let me have the details, as I'll be joining you there. I believe I last has a lunchbreak in about 2001, but that could have been a hallucination due to low blood sugar. Nowadays I get indigestion as I don't have time to chew my food eating it while trying to teleport myself between meetings.

Mind you, I wouldn't be a teacher if you trebled my salary and made the sun shine for the whole of the summer holidays

BTW Polka (Sorry for being so rude but something was distracting me;)) that cake was SERIOUSLY BRILLIANT.

Knocks DS's black and red buttercreamed ladybird into a cocked hat. When he was 2.

BTW My icing bag is STILL grey - and he'll be 15 in (OMG OMG OMG) 20 days.

And you should've seen the kids. They looked like they'd got that slapped cheek virus thing!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

How annoying about your pc - I typed a letter in my lunch 'break' today, copied it to paste onto the letterhead and ....it disappeared!! Guess which primary dept is now not sending a letter home until Monday :p

And now I am sooooo sleepy, I'm off to bed ...... for about 24 hours!!

    Night all

You can tell I'm having a good day too can you :rotfl:

I'm STILL doing appraisal paperwork for someone who can't write an objective that actually a. relates to his job and b. he or I will EVER be able to use to work out whether he's done anything or not.

Someone remind me NEVER to employ men older than me again. Despite the fact that I'm the boss, he's the employee, he's a patronising git  And he's finished his probationary period so it would take years to get rid of him... I'm just going to have to break him...

No amplification my !!!!!! I have the photographic evidence. And it will be used....The dog thoroughly enjoyed the extra walk. I felt quite safe all hooded up as one does. The dog is an added security measure. Actually had one guy do a bit of rap to me from the other side of the enclosure fence which included a sentence about the dog! I thought that was quite cool.

Still doesn't detract from the fact there's thump thump thump still going on and they lied to the Council by saying there's no amplification.

There's no point in going to bed at the moment - it's too noisy!

Thanks for the offer - seriously I think if I unistall the program then reinstall that'll solve it.

    But just in case...

    it says 'runtime error 339
component comdlg32.ocx or one of its dependancies is not correctly registered, a file is missing or invalid
