Hi folks,
Well its been a productive day for me, well morning was a few little things and then off to music/singing class with DS. He loved it, and I enjoyed it too. He slept well in the afternoon, giving me time to get through my own list and also some of the Friday tasks. Managed to make biccies and cakes, and tea for DH, DS, FIL and me- toad in the hole with onion rings and wedges, followed by cake brought by FIL/my biccies/cake I made (brownies).
Time to chill out now, DH bathing DS, then maybe some craft for me.
Take care ladies.
Am not doing anything cleaning wise over the weekend except the usual stuff like washing dishes/clothes/nappies etc, and will be back on Monday to FLY with you all then.
Take care

Soappie - definitely the right prescription for back pain. I swear by it, but don't try it at workHave you (or Mudbath) tried TENS? I've been using it for years, and it's the ideal solution for work (I have a tiny unit that clips on my belt), and if you're a chronic pain sufferer and get a doctors' note the kit is VAT free too.
I have to report that the power of the juniper berry has worked wonders on those aches and pains. And Greenbee - no I don't even contemplate trying the juniper berry at work! I'm not a chronic sufferer at all, it's just this last couple of days I've been aching where I never normally ache. Nice neighbour who helped me administer the Juniper berry medicine (and who has just staggered home) says 'there's a lot of it about' so maybe I have a bug or something.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Glad it worked... must have been all that gadding about last weekend that did it

Oh fu-crying out loud. There's some event on somewhere v. close. I am now being subjected to the most horriblist of horrible base guitar and drums with just a tiny bit of vocals that's not quite clear enough to hear what they're singing.
I think I may have to make a phone call....I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

How do I put that photo in so it just shows up in the thread? What did I do wrong? Or is it okay to just leave the link like that?
Greenbee I cannot thank you enough0 -
Polkadot - can't get into facebook at the moment (something to do with my work internet servers, they let me in randomly!), so will look later. I'm not guaranteeing that I'll have anything you want, but I promise I'll look it all out and let you have first refusal on what's there (I did find the liquid glucose... and its not liquid anymore
). I know there is an angel food cake tin somewhere taking up half a cupboard.
Soappie - hope the noise goes away soon. If not, you could try making your own. I know it's not always that easy though... I have a regular problem next door to me - she doesn't work, her children have been sent to live with their grandparents, the um... recreational substances she takes mean she's totally oblivious to day/night/other people (as are her 'visitors' who drop in to leave cash IYSWIM). I've had a blissful couple of weeks while she's been in hospital with liver problems - and now she's back. Hopefully the weather will keep her indoors this weekend. Still, she'll probably be off for a little holiday courtesy of HM sometime soon
