The reason this would work was it is 16 hours a week (I thought it was 12 but the info given was wrong.. there's a novelty!!) some can be done in the evenings and some while Tiddles is at nursery.

How about doing some distance-learning/self-study at your own pace to get back into it gently? Or some related but shorter/lower commitment courses? You can always redo the course for something you've already done as a refresher and not take the exam at the end (I avoid exams wherever possible  ). Then by the time you can fit in 30 hours a week you'll have done plenty and worked out how to fit it in with your commitments at home.

Given the number of teachers on this thread there's bound to be one or two who cover the right subjects and could provide some help and advice on study skills & essay writing.

Have a BIG drink and forget about it for the moment  You've still got lots of options and nothing to stop you getting where you want to be.

The interview was fine.. BUT.. I haven't enrolled.. They want ALL the childrens birth certificates.. Don't even ask why because I don't know! They wanted my bank details.. on the bank card hubby has AND they wanted £84.. then they said.. well we can't do it now anyway we are closed... !!!!!!.. you TOLD me to come at this time.. SO.. right now my head is going 'well f*** you!!'

Ooooh, posts crossed, took too long to write previous one.

I know it's not funny, but you did make me laugh with the above... I was watching Loose Women on daytime TV today, they had Joan Collins on it and she was saying about red tape and how stupid it is - something about changing her address and they wanted her age, how many breakfasts she eats a week, what sort of underpants her husband wears, etc... you want to learn, not enrol the kids - how pathetic is that? What happened to this making it easy to go back to learning...?

Anyway, hope you have a great weekend, you don't even have to think about it till Monday so enjoy the rest of tdoay with a nice stiff one - - - drink I mean! ;) ,

Did you get your nails done in the end? and....... have you ever thought about midwifery????...... OK, sorry, couldn't help myself...:rotfl: :rotfl:

I know exactly how it will fit in.. next September Tiddles goes to school.. problem solved!

I can't do motivation plus I need to get used to studying outside of the home.. AND.. distance learning is SO expensive I looked into that first. I have covered all options this was the only feasible one left open

Have birthday cake to do-always a happy task for me:j

Do you want all my unloved cake-making kit? I can let you know what there is. Some of the ingredients (like glycerin, liquid glucose etc) may be a bit out of date, but perfectly OK for practising with. I don't have the time for making complicated cakes any more, and as a result don't enjoy it as much as I used to.

Let me know... and I might actually get some decluttering done :rotfl:

I've finished off 4 of my ebay listings - I like doing them like that - get it listed and then finish it.

Time to round up the kids.

Johanne I hope you have a better night and that you feel better tomorrow

Apparantly none of what Ive said to her is true and I am very insecure and no one can talk to me. She has a lot of friends and doesnt need someone as needy and petty as me-so I told her she didnt have to stick around,by the end of it she was screaming at me so I put the phone down on her.

Polka, you're far better off without her as a 'friend'. I'm trying to think of the right word - is it displacement or something? Where the person criticising someone else is doing itpurely because they know they're like it themselves and don't want to face up to it. - ahhh, I think it's coming to I think it's 'projection'. If I were you, I'd cut the cord RIGHT NOW and don't even consider phoning or emailing her. Big Hugs hun - you're better than her - really, you are...
