Don't usually post twice but have read through and want to say
CATOWEN, Sorry to hear that ex- plon*er is being a pain in the derier, He really needs to grow up. Treat him with the contempt he deserves. Then have a large glass of something smoothing.

STEFEJB, Ex proberbly read the text and saw himself as he is.... (see above)
that's why he didn't have the nerve to say anything.

JO132000, hope your gonna be ok, don't forget we are here. (hugs)

SILVERCHARMING, Special hello to you. :hello:

Huge gentle hugs SMOKEY, PENPIN, JACKIO, MRS MIX, JAYWARD and all.

    Evening peeps,

we`ve had a very busy day here at Sunny towers, our visitors didn`t arrive due to unforseen circumstances and will now be coming tomorrow instead, this has worked out well as we have cleaned the house from top to bottom and Mr Sunnyday has been a star!
He did all the heavy work and the hoovering and i even managed to persuade him to climb the ladders outside to put the dusk til dawn bulb in the security light in the back garden before the heavens opened , i bought the bulb for it almost a year ago

I made dough in the bm and lovely rolls in the remoska and the blackberry flapjacks are lovely, not very flapjacky really though as i had to do most of he mixing in the ancient food processor so they had a much smoother texture.

My hand is a bit better now - thanks to all who asked, still boxing glove like but it has gone down a tiny bit and i hope to be able to get my wedding ring back on in the next couple of days, still quite painful but thats one of those things.

Redruby - I hope that your throat is feeling better now and that the soreness has eased.

Morwenna - (((HUGS))) for your Sister

Wmf - :rotfl: at the pants :D

hilstep2000 - welcome back, good to hear tha you enjoyed your holiday

    Jo132000 - ((((HUGS)))) for you

((((HUGS)))) for anyone i`ve missed, must dash MrSD is just out of the shower and we haven`t eaten yet so i must finish off in the kitchen.
    Have a lovely evening guys.

    Hello everybody,

Had visitors to-day and DDIL1 and DGD2 are here to-night so didnt want to be rude, so stayed and talked instead of taking off to PC...she is settling quite well in Cork already...finds the meat quality wonderful but bread and food in general more expensive than in Netherlands.

Catowen and Stefjb...hugs to you both...just remember that you are lucky enough not to live with them any longer!

Hugs to all who are feeling down and congratulations to all who are celebrating

    Sleep well,

    Marie

    Evening!

Sending the wrong text always makes me feel slightly icky, even when it's entirely innocent I panic! Perhaps it'll make him think about how he behaves in future stef, but then again perhaps not!

Had a very lazy day today, went to Asda with oh, think he's finally understood what I've been trying to teach him for so long, every time he saw something he said "oh we could make that for less and it'd be nicer", he sounded just like dd2! It did make me laugh! Got our 2 lots of News of the World freebies, kids had one lot for tea tonight, how excited were they to be have ready made waffles! I do buy them sometimes, but obviously not often enough for the troops!

Made pies for lunch today, individual ones in the pie maker, only part cooked the first few then finished them off in the remoska, also meant they were all ready at the same time. It's quite frightening how little filling will fit into individual pies though, makes the prices charged for ready done ones silly. dd3 made treacle tart for pud, then threw a strop at the dinner table and missed out on pudding cos she was sent to her room! She was going to eat it after her tea, but when she went to get it someone had beaten her to it! Have promised to make another one tomorrow with her.

Sorted through my stockpiles of food and managed to find it all homes in the kitchen rather than stuck in boxes on the floor! Admittedly I have a reusable tesco bag stuffed full of dried ingredients like lentils, dried potato and noodles stuffed in the space under the brekkie table, and nobody but me will be brave enough to touch the flour mountain, but at least the boxes are out of the way now!

Had a glass of wine or two with lunch and spend the later part of the afternoon asleep, hence not feeling very tired now! oh is back to work tomorrow so will be woken up early, so no doubt I shall pay for the late night tomorrow night when I'm at work and haven't had enough sleep!

Off to catch up on emails now and see where my friend who's travelling across Africa has got to, and whether my mate got the job he applied for in France, hope so it'd be nice to have somewhere to stay in the sunny south of France!

    Night all xx
