Morning everyone
Last proper day of freedom today as I think I'll go into the office at some point tomorrow even though we're not required until Tuesday.
Still need to clean and vac the car but apart from that it's an easy day. If the rain holds off I'll plant my tulip bulbs too.
How do I find who's who on facebook? I've got an account now but I don't have a clue! I added who I really am on the thread on the MSE group.
Have a good day folks see you later!

Troo, as I have apples coming my way, what do you do with yours?

How are the piggies, did the little one catch up with his siblings?
I stew and freeze them (the apples, not the piggies lol) straight away. I put them into freezer bags then put the bags into large lunchboxes - 2 per box - so they freeze in a square shape, when they're frozen I take them out of the box and they're nice neat squares that stack. I started doing this a few weeks ago with everything, it's amazing how much more you can fit in the freezer. We make lots of crumbles, pies and apple sauce
Little Timmy is trying to be the boss but it's not working
He keeps trying to hump Boris (the dominant one) but soon gets put in his place. He's grown a bit more but I don't think he'll catch up with his brothers. We've had to separate him from the others a few times, when he tried to dominate Rambo Timmy kept biting his ears, making him bleed. Poor Rambo - he's so gentle and tried to tell Timmy off without hurting him but it didn't work. When he's put into the little cage he sort of looks at you as if to say 'whaaaaaat? what did I do?' and he actually sighs

Morning all
Thanks DG and Squiggly - I was actually very very upset last night. As you know I have only seen dd for 1 day this month. Earlier in the week mr Caring sharing had told me that she would be home ysterday so i waited in only to find that they were on the 9pm ferry so that was never going to happen realy so my hopes were dashed, then lifted then dashed again. This moring I shall mostly be plotting revenge. luckily my dfriend was having tomorrow off w8rk and kindy gave her day back so that I can have the day with dd tomorrow. Most of it will be a trial bus run for school but it will be nice
Having eaten nearly half off the celebration cake I will be baking again today - probably something with meringues which she loves
Cast iron pants ....... hmmm I shall order some forthwith for dd(23) whose pants always appear woefully inadequate consistng mostly of teeny weeny triangles held together with a miriad of strings which tangle horribly in the wash
wmf - big hugsI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -

Morning :hello:
Just enjoying my last lie-in of the holiday.
DH has been away over the weekend as he's at a school reunion in Colchester and is due back later.
The past few days have been productive rather than busy and I've managed to clean the house, change beds, sort out stuff on the computer, get through all of the ironing, do some food shopping, get both new uniforms ready for DDs and take DD1 on a practice bus run for her new school.
I also did a huge stock-take of the kitchen cupboards and I now have it all written down in a book, so I can check if I have 9 tins of beans before I go out and buy more.:rotfl:
The girls have been enjoying the warm dry weather and have spent the last few days playing out with their friends. Today's plans include stripping our bed, reading the paper, making packed lunches and we're having chilli for tea. So I'm going to enjoy my last day of the holiday.
DD2 starts at her new junior school tomorrow, DD2 starts at her new high school on wednesday, DH returns tomorrow and I'm back on wednesday afternoon as I'm working 2 and a half days each week this year.
Hope you have a good day,

Cast iron pants eh? Ding dong missus!
My sis had to go to A&E on Friday night - she rang just as I had posted on here. She is okay, but has been referred to a consultant. After all the waiting about it was 4am when I got home. So yesterday was a write off as I was Morwenna of the Dead. So today I need to get my skinny a** in gear! But I think another :coffee: first...........

Edit: Oh - I have a medal now!!!!!We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0
