Afternoon all
Hubby & I spent yesterday in the garden, the trellis is finished, the birdfeeder is repositioned & the winter veg is planted.
We went to a local garden centre today to look at water features & came back with a new BBQ???? Ours is on it's last legs so we did need a new one.
BIL was meant to be going away for the weekend & hubby & I had decided to treat our selves to a pub lunch, but BIL turned up at 8 last night, so I've been to Tesco to buy a chicken to roast. Only 2 more weeks now I hope, I want my life back.
Hugs Hester

Afternoon everyone, haven't posted for a few days (been busy knitting/working/housework)
I'm chuffed I've finished knitting Mrs Claus to go with Santa Claus I knitted last year - my knitting must have improved as I've finished in August (just) and Santa Claus didn't get finished till December last year :rotfl:
Anyway, I've loads to do so I thought I'd post it to give my the proverbial kick up the backside  I need to clean the bathroom, our bedroom, DD's bedroom, hoover entire house, iron Mt Everest and sort out dinner. Might rope in DH for the last one.

Hello again darlings
Sunnyday - gosh honey I hope you feel better. Sounds painful
Mellika - he is a DJ at a club that closes at 0200, so by the time he has packed down and driven home, it's often around 0330 - and if he stops for a nap on the way home, it can be later/earlier. He has a 'normal' job M-F but Thurs/Fri and Sat he is a DJ. Plus he is my carer, so he is one in a million. Oh and I grow sage cos it has the most lovely purple flowers, but I do add the leaves to my stuffing mixes and it tastes good with chicken dishes and pasta sauces.
Redruby - glad your dad enjoyed the cake, my aunty sally is tickled pink that all these people are baking her recipe!
Squiggly - the storms moved away around 0600 so yes, I am guessing they travelled up to you!!
Stef- I can understand why you are so annoyed with ex-OH, I would be too
hilstep2000 - trying hard not to be jealous of your holiday in St Lucia. Very hard... :rotfl: Seriously though I am glad you had a great time.
Pippa, wave at me when you get to Modbury, I am in Devon too.
Well done ladygrim, sounds like you have been working hard - I have my winter potatoes planted out in potato bags so can't wait til they start sprouting!
I am off to do some baking now - yumyumyum
Hope you are having a great weekend and see you all tomorrow
Hugs to everyone
