    Morning all :grouphug:

Dave came back from his fishing adventure insanely early this morning, something to do with fog and tiddlers, so we have spent the morning trudging round three carboot sales looking for demijohns. We only found two, one of which has a manky crust at the bottom. The guy said he last made wine in 1978, which would make that manky crust older then me  Thankfully stardrops has no respect for age and is nuking the gung as we speak. And he did only charge us 20p each for them. I don't know what is happening, you used to see demijohns on practically every stall at the carboots. Freecycle is even worse; people request them virtually every day. Oh well. I've managed to do without them before and I'll manage again.

Only other thing we bought was a halogen heater which we paid £2.50 for. I was a bit sceptical but it works :T So that should cut our heating bill this winter.

Other than that, I'm catching up with all the stuff I didn't do when I was ill, making pot-roasted beef for dinner and maybe something else bramble-based.

Just a quick one to remind anyone who is interested that News of the World have an offer to get fish fingers, waffles and peas free in Asda with a voucher in the paper today - since I want some peas I shall be doing this a couple of times, does anyone else think peas have become really expensive lately? Just told oh that he has to come to Asda with me in a bit! Think the coupon is valid till 2nd Sept, just in case you want to buy the paper elsewhere or stocks run out today!

    Hello all
Had a real lie in this morning - 10am before me or OH even woke up !!!!! Must have need the sleep what with OH being a bit peculiar with his stomach upset. Hes got yet more tablets from the chemist and they seemed to work really well last night.........maybe thats why he slept, but he's still not feeling right so looks like a trip to the doctors tomorrow.

Last night our youngest lad came in and within minutes, girl from next door called to say she'd seen him down the next street !!! I rang him and he tried to convince me he was in bed............. Came back eventually but kids !! Why do they do these daft things.....................

Hope you have a good day and hugs ((((((((:o )))))))) to those who need them

Big hugs to all who need one today and  to anyone celebrating that I've missed. Having a very lazy day today. Had a party last night which OH cooked for (food was lovely). My contribution was fairy cakes and chocolate rice crispy cakes for the kids. OH is trying very hard at the moment to make an effort and not leave everything to me.

Legoland was really tiring, but had a great day with all the kids including my friends 2 year-old boy. Really think he's so funny as he's as naughty as my DS was at that age. He also seems to have taken a shine to me and likes to walk around holding my hand. So cute. Glad I took loads of food with me. Went to McDonalds on the way home.

Intend to chill out today. I've got four days before school starts to get DS to go to bed at a sensible time! No storms here, it's boiling! Dinner is leftover chicken and salad.

    Have a good day all.

    Hi All!
Haven't posted for three weeks. Been on hols in St Lucia. Only got back last Saturday, and have spent the week catching up!:rotfl:
Very hot and humid there tho. 35 degrees and 80% humidity most days. I didn't know I could sweat so much!
Lovely relaxing break though. Couples only, no kids! OH went diving everyday. I just ate, drank, slept, swam and read. read 8 novels, which is bad for me, last time I read 12!:rotfl:

Had a barbie for OH's birthday yesterday. Lovely day. Yeuch today! Will catch up with you all later!
