Does anyone know exactly when it went up? or if theres anyone else doing free NTL?
Hi, Can someone explain the NTL 321 thing.... is that where they charge 5p connection then 1p a min for Evening and weekends etc ?
Just tried all three (1899,18866 & 18185) from my home line and all engaged..... what is the point....arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhUse your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.I walk with the world & the world walks with me!I don't make bad choices!!! 3-2-1 charges are:
3p per min peak
2p per min off peak
1p per min weekends
not forgetting the 5p connection charge.0 -

Exactly what I was thinking, my calls are routed through NTL after 6PM and at weekends, the rest of the time it is with 1899 and 18185.0 -
I first received the half a pea minute mesage at about 2pm this afternoon. I'm thinking if I make a 2 minute call I can send them a whole pea, but would they accept frozen or fresh??
Surely if the company wish to be taken seriously and trusted then it would do two easy things:
1) inform customers of any price changes
2) use proper English which can be understood. Half a penny a minute is what they mean.
I ditched the ntl unlimited 24 hour call plan (£14.50 a month) to use 1899, now I'm wondering what the best option is. Fortunately I can get detailed usage from 1899 to decide on the options.0 -

I got the 0.5p/min at 10:30 this morning. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

Also raises two questions:
1) why should customers keep looking at a website daily just to see what price they may be charged.
2) also with the notification of the price is it too late to decline the purchase of the commodity? AS I'm sure the connection charge and first half pea has been charged by the time you've been notified.0 -
You are not charged until the call is answered, calls are charged per second, plus 3p.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc...
