Got off the phone dell,

asked for name, address and IR number

the was told that the order was in the system and has been sent to sales team and i should get the pdf in one to two day. ;D

Not holding my breath though :-/

I just got off the phone to DELL (A a nice guy called stephen) and was told that my order is "in the queue" and "under production"

im finding it a little hard to believe however so I guess I will take it with a pinch of salt until I have it in my hands !!!!

Apologies for the cynicism, I ordered too and would love one of these as much as anyone - would make a fantastic Crimbo pressie for my sons' school! I'd have enough Brownie Points to last them through to Sixth Form (they're only 5 & 9!!)

I too have just called dell and quoted my IR no. he sort of chuckled when he got the details up. Basically he said there had been a hold up on all orders and I should hear something in the next few days. Reading between the lines this will be a sorry but.. email for all concerned

Hi there,

I just called up DELL too, after being on hold 5 mins the guy said there was a problem with "these" not "this" order, so must mean all these projectors and that it was being dealt with by a special department and he'd give me a call back before end of the day.

i.e CTRL+A then press DEL

Response was everyone will be getting a e-mail regarding a pricing error for these projectors tonight

Damn! I rang up earlier on, he said he will contact the Internet team and get them to send me an order number.

If Dell was not going to honour the price, surely they would have cancelled them by now. They must be still decieding what to do.
