Morning Everyone
Sorry not had chance to read yet so (((hugs))) to everyone.
It looks like autumn out there today and I'm full of cold so feeling abit sorry for myself. DD is still in bed also with the cold from hell but I'm going to have to get her up shortly to go to MIL's. Just going to pack her into the car in her PJ's and she can get dressed when we get there.
I'm working this morning then have a busy afternoon with swimming and lots of errands to run. Tea is going to be sausage and mash which I really looking forward to.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Hester - my DH gets pains in his shoulders. He was taking cod liver oil until the doctor said that it was responsible for the sudden increase in his cholesterol levels. He recommended glucosamine with chondroitin and it works really well; he hardly has any pain now. Well worth trying.
Well, he has just left for work so I shall hop into the shower and then get on with some baking before I tackle the rest of the paperwork.
NOT sunny here but not raining either. Apparently, we have a window of sushine sometime on Saturday afternoon, according to a weather forecast I've just read. I wonder if it will last long enough to get a barbecue organised?!
See you later.

Morning all
A grey day - looks like the sunshine we got the other day was it.
I'm going to wash my car and blitz the inside today ready for the start of term. It's a tip - I live in it in term time so it gets so much junk collecting, and wrappers etc.
OH in a funny mood again so haven't seen him for two days. May be a little illusive myself for a while because I find myself just waiting for him. I have wasted nearly a whole summer just waiting.
Going out for the day tomorrow - don't know where, but maybe a beach if the weather is nice (so prpbably a town because it won't be!)
Mioliere - will be fascinated to hear about the soap nuts - what does the washing smell like when it's done?
Hugs to all in need,

Morning all,
Kaat, hope you've had a bit more sleep. Enjoy.
Frugalswan, I agree with CharliesMum, something else will come up & will be even nicer. It's just horrible having these sorts of problems when you really don't need them...
Mioliere, I thought I read somewhere that somebody else had tried soapnuts & they had marked their clothes. Knowing my DD's they'd wonder what they were & just chuck them in the bin..!! I do like the sound of them though, may well have to give them a try.
Aussie - if I could find a vomiting smiley... urgh. I have 2 cats now myself (they have been here a month already!) but that would still make me feel ill. Gruesome. I get fed up of next door's 7 or 8 cats all using my garden as a toilet (they don't use their own as their dog is always out...).
Dogrose, I know, I would be absolutely lost without online banking!!!! It's brilliant
JOannasMum, hope you & DD feel less coldy soon.. sniffle sniffle.....
Poppy, I put the little quote from a Mika song in my signature to remind me to try & get on with living, rather than constantly looking & waiting - and not enjoying life in the meantime..... (((hugs))) for you.
Over to Brighton this morning to meet a mate & have a mooch round the shops (or coffee at the Marina). This afternoon letters for the office need typing. Meatballs for supper I think - quick & simple.
Have a good day all. ((((((((((((hugs))))))))))) for all those needing them.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -
MIOLIERE Could you please point me in the direction of soap nuts, I'd like to order some, Thanks sweetie.
DD2 has just phoned from work, she woke to find the kitchen floor very wet, was about to blame the Labs but discovered the fridge had packed up, luckily we have a spare one that wasn't needed in house we rent so DH and I will take it down and dispose of the broken one. Just added to list of things to do. :rolleyes:0 -
Morning all, hope you are all well
Hester - I take glucosamine and as my hips and wrists are painful, I have seen a noticable improvement too, so it might be worth a try. (I'm a natural sceptic too, so it must actually be working!)
Stef - hope you enjoyed the festival
moliere - I've not tried soapnuts, so will wait for your report
frugalswan, hope you get it all sorted ((hug)) for you
Hugs for everyone else that would like one today.
I'm stil writing, and am very bored, not much else happening. OH off to germany then to the US next week, so I will have the house to myself for a couple of weeks
have a good day, cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Aussie - we used to have a cat that did the same some years ago.
We bought one of the enclosed litter trays which has a top that clips on and off. The problem was solved straight away.
