I have had the Cyberhome a couple of months now and was originally happy with it. I copied a few of my VHS tapes to DVD and all was well. Then I tried to do another one and the screen was "bouncing" up and down. You can still make out the picture but it's not ideal to watch. I fiddled with the Scart lead and it seemed to be ok, but then half way through the tape it started again. I switched to a brand new Scart lead and still got the same.

Then I thought it may be my VCR. I got a head cleaner and ran that. Same problem. IT's fine just viewing the tape through the video but when viewing through the DVD Recorder the bouncing is still there.

    Anyone else had this problem?

I didnt have the same problem just lots of others, returned two units in 4 months.
Best advice having read all the other complaints take it back to Asda get your refund and buy something better for a little more money. Price has come down on simple dvd recorders since this offer so you get more for your money now.
I bought Panasonic es10 from Tesco for £109. Very happy but plenty of other options.

If you dont return it now with the current problems your just going to get more in the future.

I have to agree with rwilts, I returned mine to Asda last week but should have done it ages ago, the problem that got to me most was the out of sync sound issue  , also most dvdr worked fine for the first few weeks they then refused to play, anyway I am sure there are still a few people out there that are quite happy but I would say return it and look for another (do not say you were not warned) , remember it looks like Asda guarantee is now for 1 year and not 3.
