Hi everyone
Happy birthday Whatatwit! _party_ _party_ _party_ I hope you have enjoyed your day.
Aussielass I hope your DGS recovers quickly, poor little mite.
Haribo  sort of thing I would do
Well the best laid plans of mice and Morwennas - gang aft agley :rotfl:
Coming downstairs with DS2's floordrobe to put in the washer as she is going to DS1's this week, I managed (don't ask me how!) to misstep and sat down hard and unexpectedly on the stairs. Now since my bottom has no padding, I have managed to bruise my coccyx - brought actual tears to my eyes I can tell you! So where I was going to have a lovely lazy day with my book, I have decided standing up things are better today
It's a good job I'm back to work tomorrow - there are others there to stop me disastering myself
Hope everyone is enjoying their days and hugs to those that want them0 -

Mmmmmm just made a fruit loaf with dates, sultanas, prunes and cranberries. Smells lush but I broke a bit off in my anticipation to get it out the tin!! Put it back together and left to cool a bit more before trying again
!
Raining here earlier but as the weather was set to change I did my washing and started hanging it out as the clouds disappeared. Lo and behold its been a great sunny afternoon and I am now off to bring it in, before cooking the cauli to go with todays mince and tatties (yes I am Scottish lol before you ask!). Will also keep some cooled cauli to make tomorrows pakora to go with the curry. Anyone any ideas if pakora HAS to be deep fried, or could I brush in oil and roast ?
Ok, thanks for the welcomes and great to read all your posts.

Afternoon all,
Been out to the fete, I won a football on the tombola
OH won some felt tip pens
and dd won some tulip bulbs
, it was a lovely old fahioned fete, with a best in show competition for veg, cakes bread and flowers, you should have seen the size of the carrots  put mine to shame, great teas as well, home made cakes, and there was a huge slide going all the way down the hill, dd would not come on it with me, so I went on my own
picked up my mat, and walked up the hill with all the other kids, I came down at about 100 miles per hour screaming my head off, it was great :T
Diva, the apple cake is delish, I took half a cake to the old boy up the road, ( he would not be able to eat a whole one ), he was thrilled, and gave me a bag of runner beans, I also gave some apples to my other neighbour who gave me some rhubarb back :T :T
Going to have a rest for an hour now, have fun all xx0 -
Many Happy Returns Whatatwit
(((Hugs))) for DGS Aussie, hope his hand heal asap.0 -
Haven't had a chance to even skim today's thread. I am seizing this moment as dear heart and little bear are both having a nap. But I had to share - I've almost finished my ironing. :j:j:j It took most of yesterday and today!
Unfortunately the washing machine is on so I expect I shall be being silly about the ironing again by Wednesday!
Evil cat is sitting and sulking at me. I let her out into the garden and she decided she did NOT approve of all this wind stuff!
We popped into Makro this lunchtime (such a temptation that place) and bought goodies and silly stuff, really, but I picked up some honey for dear heart's chamomile and honey and some little yogurts for little bear. You have to be so careful because it is surprising how many items are cheaper in a supermarket than in Makro, and that is not taking into account places such as Aldi.
I told dear heart about Remoskas and how I intended to make enough money selling on ebay to purchase one. At first dear heart was extremely sceptical, but then he googled remoska and now he is likely to be standing over me insisting that I put items on ebay! He wants it NOW! And a new slow cooker combined with a rice cooker and a few other things by Tefal. Never let a husband alone in the gadgets in Makro...
Hugs to everyone, and while the going is good I am going to get back and read the rest of the thread.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
Very quickly Haribo if it is IKEA bits, ring up the store and they may post it to you.
I lost the key to the television cabinet, so I couldn't put any DVD on. Dear heart rang and they put another key in the post, but it took a week or so to get here and it came from Sweden. You may be able to hurry it up.
Then I found the key, the day after the replacement arrived
:o:o I felt a silly billy.
Must go, little bear is stirring!

Hello! :hello:
Just popping in during a lull in the tea-making process. Homemade curry, smells good already!
Had a busy few days, my parents visited us this weekend. I've got some gardening done too. Did some of my favourite type of gardening today - the destructive type - cutting back fast-growing trailing plants. Got bedding on the line, just about to bring it in. Been a lovely day here.
Also made bread, lovely soft bread, the best I've made, I was very happy with it! Mioliere - I have to thank you for it as I used the recipe that I copied down after you posted it on here a few weeks back. Also thankyou to whoever it was who asked for a soft bread recipe!
Well I'd better get that washing in, gardening tools put away, kitchen cleared then rice on......
Have a good evening, hugs to you all.
