Just having a coffee break from varnishing shelves.
Aussie. You are right to be mad. Thank God he wasn't more seriously injured and I hope he heals well. Lots of love to you both.
Happy Birthday Twit!!
Ikea are refusing to send out a new bit of bed. It's too big apparently. We very rarely make the trip to Glasgow as it's nearly 200 miles round trip but it's so annoying that OH's plane lands there tonight at 8.30 and Ikea is closed early for the Bank Holiday. It's not even a proper bank Holiday up here.
Anyway.... better get back to it.

Morning all,
Up earlier than usual this morning, clothes off line as rain threatening, still not started so they could have had another 2 hours....well I can't always be right!
Welcome to newbies
Aussie...can only imagine how you feel....would be spitting mad if something like that happened to one of my grandchildren....people responsible would be on a severe warning....how careless can they be to let such a thing happen to a little child...I know accidents happen but!!!! if I weren't so far away I would be joining you on a revenge mission!!
Roast chicken etc for dinner, think I will make some soup as it is cold here and hm soup is always my answer to that problem...
Hoping to get on with my knitting for gifts later, need two birthday presents next week, 2 in October, 3 in November and 3 in December, to add to the Christmas
list, so really should be clicking non-stop.
Have a good day all...if sun is shining where you are, down tools and enjoy

Haribo - How ridiculous that they are refusing to send out the correct bit of bed when it's such a long journey for you to collect it! Not exactly stunning customer service, is it :mad:0

That's what I think. The piece itself is only about a foot long by 4 inches high. I shall be complaining very loudly.
The woman I just spoke to said if I could give her the details on the receipt she would look into it further. But the receipt is in OH's pocket and he is somewhere in the skies over Benbecula.0 -

Thanks Kaat, I'm sharpening my pin now

Aussie, your poor DGS, even more awful of ex-dil to say that he was crying for you, that really rubs salt in. I hope he makes a speedy recovery and the burns aren't too severe. Well done for your sis on her chol results. I will use my balloon popping pin on my voodoo doll.

Hello everyone.
I am sat here in my dressing gown as I have just got up and showered I know lazy. But in my defence it was nearly 3am before I went to bed could not just sleep.
Was having a good old root around at the hillbilly wifes website. Very interesting. Even found a menu plan with recipes from the USDA on a thrifty plan. It is 70 odd pages long. So not sure if I will print it and some bits in colour.
Any how change of plan for lunch I have not taken it out of the freezer so looks like it will be beans on toast or something on toast. Tea is up my mums.
Just trying to muster the energy to go and get dressed and tidy up :rotfl:
All the best to everyone.
Yours
CalleyHope for everything and expect nothing!!!
