Polka - glad you got your meds and they now appear to be listening to you

Rach - have a great holiday

Dusty - you've done well with the painting

MrsV - hope the move went well

I have just done my list - it has 102 items on it - some will take a couple of minutes, others - how long is a piece of string - I'll try to post it next.

OH was supposed to be home today, then it was Thursday, at 1pm it was Friday but possibly Saturday, got in at 7.30 tonight and an e-mail says could be Thursday again but more likely Friday - I now need to assume he may be back tomorrow night and get to work. Have friends here on Saturday so most needs to be done for OH coming home but spare room I'll mainly leave until Saturday. Wish me luck!
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Actually, it was me threatening tears and tantrums - sometimes, when you work in an office full of blokes, you have to resort to such tactics! :D

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that! :D

    Evening everyone.

Not done a lot today as DS2 had his 4 month jabs today. I had to take DS1 with me, and he was so good, he sat on a chair next to me in the waiting room, then sat next to DS2 while he had the 3 jabs, and stroked his face saying 'its alright sam - shhhh' so cute.

We then came home, and my friend popped round for a bit, and i fed her some of the carrot and lentil soup i had made in the SC.

50p worth of carrots plus an onion, 1/3 bag of lentils and a sprinkling of savory herbs, and i have fed 3 of us today, and put 3 lots to feed 2/3 people in the freezer. So that could be 10-12 portions for about £1.

Not much else done today - i think i am burned out a bit from all the packing for hols/being on hols/unpacking/friends visiting etc for the past month. So i cuddled bubs, spent 3 hours nattering to my mate, and some time reading my book today.

shell hope DD2 is ok after her jabs. That's it for me till next May thankfully. My poor mans lip went as soon as the 1st one went in. I was just grateful DS1 didn't kick off as his brother was being hurt.

Dusty well done on starting that task. I hate painting. Leave it mostly to DH.

polka glad you got sorted there. Hope potty training went well today.

rach glad you enjoyed seeing your friend. I was like that last weekend. Wanting to see my friends, but not feeling like i had the energy and had a great time.

nicki hope the glasses aren't too pricey. I think i need an eye test as i haven't had one since i was a kid. I think i am too tired to have one done though at the minute though IYKWIM - i'll wait till the baby is sleeping through to reduce eye strain, and then book one.

Right, back to my book for me i think. I had some plans to iron or something. But can't be bothered. My back and shoulder are killing from a lot of baby jiggling today. Hope he is a bit less grumpy tomorrow.

    Night all.

Didnt get much studying done, have however done some more ironing, done the dishes, S&S'd the kitchen and played with my wabbit.
Just going to update my diary with school dates and make hubbys lunch. He's still not home, poor thing will be knackered! He left the house at 6.30am and will be doing the same tomorrow:eek: Not sure when he'll be back, best run him a bath.

Hippy - just looking at your list makes me want to lie down and have a rest! Mind you, if you've got a chocolate cupboard, maybe you should leave that till last as motivation ;)

Dusty - the kitchen's going to look great when you've finished. It sounds like yours must be an interesting house if you've got such a strange shaped room.

Hex - not sure what colour your looking for, but with tulips this year I put in a whole lot of Angelique and Mount Tacoma which gave me a mass of pink & cream (they're both doubles). I then had some later flowering, taller, darker ones in amongst them. These were followed by paeonies (it ALWAYS rains when they're out  ). Irritatingly I've forgotten what alliums I had last year, so can't order more!

Jacqui - good to hear your enjoying your flying. The results make it even more worthwhile

pigpen - you'd best send a child out to buy a battery for your alarm then!

mineallmine - for windows I use a wet ecloth followed by a very slightly damp ecloth. And my dad (who has cut the hedge, mowed the lawn and put up the obelisk that had fallen over with the rose attached to it :D ) commented on how clean the windows were looking - he was very surprised when I pointed out that it was me doing the insides that made the difference, not the window-cleaner doing the outsides a month ago! I don't think he's noticed the rest of the clean and tidiness though
