lol they do sometimes come this far down but tend to be en route somewhere at the time, mostly they fly round OY, click here for more info, it's great fun.

Now I must go or I'll be sat here in another hour!

  • Ok.. My list for today - Make the 3 phone calls I have been avoiding for ages.
[STRIKE]Get out into the garden and pick tomatoes and plant winter potatoes.
Decide on what to have for dinner..[/STRIKE]

Ok... so I only did ONE of my phone calls but in order to complete it I had to make two others so in effect I made three...*chuckles*. It's OK, I know that doesn't count really.

And it isn't as if I hate making phone calls really, it's just that these are rather official ones I have to make and I so don't want to have to do them! Oh well, I shall add them to tomorrows list!

On the plus side I did spend over three hours in the garden. We planted up some winter pots into potato sacks and I sat and trimmed every bit of blight off my tomato plants and every leaf, leaving just the ripening tomatoes... I shall go out tomorrow to see how that is working!! I DID pick 1 1/2lbs of almost ripe toms today though so they are sat in a bowl now on the windowsill.

We had lasagne for dinner - old WW recipe which we added porridge oats to, in order to cut down on the beef mince. Even the OH had to admit you couldn't tell they were in there!

Thank you for the encouragement - I am very impressed with how much you are all getting done, but the little I do feels like a mountain some days!

Hugs to all and see you in the morning!

re item#21 I SO want to live in a house with a chocolate cupboard!:p
re item#101 I think, if you have 102 things to do, that IS giving blood:D

I won't be doing all 102 things but OH will do some next week like the windows. Chocolate is my vice and I get seriously stressed if there is none in the house so I keep a big supply but need another shelf now lol. Giving blood - it's easy you just lie there and hope you don't nod off :rotfl:
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

    Morning all,

Thanks for all the tips on cleaning windows. Mine are pretty awful so will need to do these.

My bathroom isn't that bad (yippee!) - just shows that if you fly regularly some of the rooms aren't so scary to tackle the next week.:T

    Right must crack on.:j

Apparently there is no regular place to give blood here and I was hoping to donate some eventually (was anaemic after having DS so would have had to wait a bit!). Somehow we never get round to it on hols but I should! :o
