Hi sexymouse - yes, if you check the label in the shop before you buy anything, you're definitely all grown up!! :D

It was johanne who was lamenting the fact that all her age group were out getting legless while she was gloating over a Christmas card craft pack, and how much money she'd saved on nappies. I think the general consensus was that she had the right idea...I didn't have a misspent youth because I lived in a village where the last bus back from the nearest town left at 5.30pm, and the only places to go were the pub (where the landlord knew you because his daughter was in your mum's class at school and the most exciting thing he'd put in your coke was a slice of lemon) and the Church youth club. I don't even remember getting drunk while at uni. I was a very dull twenty something. I had a good time in my thirties though.:D

    Evening all,

Thanks Craftyscholar for the tip about Barbara Sher.

Did most of my list. Still not hoovered stairs - I think it's because they're so cluttered that I know it will take ages to sort that first. :o

So am sitting here, looking at the fading light (it's getting dark early now) through my clean lounge windows, with a clean and tidy bathroom, with a clean kitchen floor (yes the rest of it now looks a mess, that's a weekend of cooking for you), with a relately tidy landing, looking forward to next week's lists and improving things even further. I'd say the master bedroom, the stairs and the lounge are still the worst areas for clutter and untidiness. After that, the garage beckons.

    Evening all

We had our BBQ between the downpours.

Family still here but little ones in the bath. I'll check in later to catch the new thread.

PF missed you hun. How are things with your DS female friend? He did well in his exams all things considered and I'm glad he wants to try even harder and resit. Good luck with your courses.

The thing I find quite odd is that there are no 'thirty-something' women out because they are all at home with their small children.. there are few men but they are out 'together' or divorcees.. not that I would want one.. but you know what I mean.. It isn't often women of that age are out.

Well, late twenties and early thirties if I'm being truthful. I had DS when I was 33 and that cramped my style a bit!
