    Morning everyone.

Warm and sunny here today. Going to try and get out for a walk later as Ive decided I need more exercise. I dont think its so much the exercise I need but sorting what I eat out. Cos when I think about it I fly at work and fly at home. Plus on my feet most of a 12 hour shift.

Going to try and catch up with with some of whats left on my list.

    One wm load just finished.

I too live on my own. Well with His Lordship the cat. Have been on my own a few years now. Actually I quite like it. Dont know how it will feel when I finish work next year. Ive had depression before and luckily had the support of my DD and friends. But there was a spell where I wouldnt go out of the house.

froddy I agree with what others have said and hope you feel better soon. They should give you a phased return. Take care.

    Toots Wow! Well done you!

mumofjusttwo Glad your counselling went ok.

I've just had a phone call to say someone is coming round at 2ish to measure up my utility room and quote for all the bits and pieces of DIY that I don't want to do :j Only problem is, I've only just dragged myself out of bed:eek: I'd better get a move on and make myself and the house look respectable!

Soappie - glad you had a great time, enjoy your rest today

jjef - if the TD plug has melted I think you might need to get someone to look at it (or at least replace it). It may well be the extension lead which has overheated - I know things like fan heaters aren't supposed to run off ordinary extension leads, so it may be the same for dryers (after all, they're just big fan heaters aren't they?).

hex - so glad you managed to get so much done in your garden. I thought about it... but didn't actually achieve anything:o I'm sure your efforts will be repaid - they generally are with gardens.

serena - sounds like you've managed to get your kids in line for the moment... make the most of it :D

Dusty - surely the rain will make it easier to get the garden toys washed?! Sounds like a job for an annoying child to me...
Good luck to everyone tackling paperwork today... who else should have done their tax return by now but hasn't :o

Afternoon all, (it was morning when I started reading...)

Police have been, took a statement and given me a crime number to pass on to the landlady. Nothing really they can do.

Ex has taken DD out to the park, and now its raining  Text him to say "text me on your way back and I'll make you a hot coffee before you leave" as he has to get a bus & train back home.

Was awake at 6am (trying to get back into the school routine and 6am up means that I can grab a bath of a morning ;) ), was up at 7.30 with DD and she changed her bed, text her dad and had a bath by 8.30 and on top of helping her do that, I'd put a wash load on and gotten myself washed and dressed! :D Very impressed with myself. :rotfl:

So far today I've done 3 loads of washing (2 bedding have been out on the line for a while and are now in the TD 'cause of the rain), 4 load is in, 2/3 more (Just debating whether to put the towels/flannels on a full boil wash or not), tea (stew) is already in the slow cooker and I've cleaned the bathroom properly as well!

HOW SAD IS MY LIFE???? Im only 22... i should be vomitting in a gutter somewhere right now after drinking too much blue vodka type stuff and only caring about how "fit" that last bloke i snogged in the pub was... not getting excited over nappy prices and card making whilst contemplating hot chocolate and bed! :o:o:o

When I had my children I lost ALL my friends.. they were off busy lying in gutters, losing whole chunks of their life to alcohol... 17 years later... I am doing just that and they are at home with their small children bemoaning how hard it is because their houses were perfect and children wreck everything.. and how they never have any time for themselves.

I just vodka with lemonade is fine for me lol.. the blue stuff is rank! .. plus.. they have added caffeine in..

Been out to shops with DD and bought some stuff for Christmas boxes and got a small wicker basket that I've been looking for. Our nearest Instore is closing next weekend - don't know why - so there wasn't all that much in there. I got half price toiletries in Boots to hide away.

While we were out it stopped raining, the sun came out and it was really hot and humid. So I thought I'd put some washing out when I got home but now it's clouded up and cooled down and looks like rain again so I won't bother!

Polkadot - you have my sympathy regarding the mouse. Last night I was on the phone to Mum and our "little" friend popped out of the kitchen and into the back of a cabinet in the lounge, I put the telly on mute and could hear it eating some of the "food" we had put down. It then went under the sofa and then legged it back into the kitchen. I had a really bad nights sleep and wanted a drink of water but was too much of a wuss to go get one from the kitchen. I hate the things, but at least from seeing it I now know its a field mouse.

Even now I am sat here thinking I keep seeing movement:eek: .

Met MIL at Newmarket Tesco (never driven there before) she is having them for 2 days as I have an induction course to attend for 2 days before starting work on Wed. I then did the trip to where this training course is being held in Cambridge so I hopefully will not get lost tomorrow.

Got some ironing to do so gonna find something to watch and then get on with it. I also need to do a meal plan and order the stuff from Mr T.

Froddy - hugs to you, your not alone anytime you need to "chat" there is always someone on here:D .

Living on your own will make it easier to get depressed though... so when you feel it coming on, either talk to a friend, or if no one is around, you know there's nearly always someone here... even if it is Valli talking to herself in the middle of the night :rotfl:

Thanks - that made me smile! I talk to myself a lot :o but at least it means I get the answers I want!!!

You're right about it being easier to get depressed on my own - I feel better today having been to church and had a natter with a few people. No tears yet today and it's 3:00 already :T

Sorted out a lot of paperwork and loads recycled / ready for shredding.
