Denise - looks like you need to cut the list down a bit, otherwise you'll get demotivated. You've had a tough time with MIL recently, so give yourself a break! (Besides, you'll scare the newbies if they think you HAVE to do everything every day... I'm sure pigpen will excuse you just this once ;) )

I go along with Anna Pavord, who says that you have reached the correct stage of equilibrium when you spend more time (and money) choosing tulips than clothes.

I'm certainly in her camp - I love tulips - I've got pink doubles and orange delicate ballerina plus some dark purple with eurphorbia and forgetmenots. I then have a massive pot with white, pink and the dark ones all together. Ah then I have some other cape cod ones and probably some others I've forgotten!

    Hello Honies!

I'm back online at last, and having caught up with 10 pages of the thread, am well and truly ready for bed!

I'm with AOL, and they decided that they were going to close down their old network, and create a new network which meant that our modem was no longer compatible. They had flashed up a warning for weeks for us to order a new wireless router, and I told OH but he didn't do anything about it. Then on Tuesday morning I tried to get online only to find that I could only access my emails and nothing else as AOL had restricted our access! I called up the help people but because I'm not down as a billing contact (also something I'd told OH to sort out and he hadn't), there was nothing they could do. Anyway, to cut a long story short, after a lot of anger from me towards OH, he finally installed a new router tonight, and I'm back online at last.

I've missed you all terribly, and have actually felt really depressed about not being able to get on and talk to you all. I hadn't realised how much I have come to rely on the HHC and your companionship, and the place is a tip now cos I went on strike out of frustration with OH - well if he was too busy to sort out the internet, I was too busy to sort out the flat!

See you all in the morning. It's nice to be back!

    Night all,

    Sexymouse xx

PS Thanks Serena for posting my message, and thank Valli for missing me.

Valli I've just had an Ikea book delivered, it's soooooo tempting, but not until the kids are back at school!
SM pleased to see you back!
mineallmine, thanks, but unfortuntately I have loads of those and he takes them off!
Soappie ((have a hug)) these pig awful days seem to be regular for you lately, I think you need a holiday. I seen some of that programme, very moving (no Jews here either)
    Well done Dusty!

DP picked up DS2s mattress, I went and got the protector, get that off you little swine was all I thought, it's like a condom for a mattress :D so unless he rips it (not unknown) it's staying on. Only problem is the mattress is a bit thick so was like getting a supersmall on a big one, we were laughing trying to get it on :rotfl:

Got the last of the uniform stuff today, well pe shoes, got some tshirts from asda for DP too with 'back to the future', 'ET' etc on :D they are really cool.

Well we've bought a network access thingamy now so I can access my Uni stuff from anywhere in the house instead of just using the conservatory (which can be super duper hot!) DPs now sat reading practical caravan magazine hehe told him he's getting old.
One day I might be more organised...........

Well, I've done my feet but not got round to doing my fingernails yet.

I got too engrossed in the Jerry Springer 'Who do you think you are' episode to think about starting on the hands.

Whoever says the holocaust never happens needs taking on a trip in a cattle truck to Auswitch.

I found it very, very moving and very, very thought provoking....

    And no, I'm not Jewish...
Thanks Soappie - my kids cannot understand why tears were pouring down my face... me (Jewish) neither but OMG how can anyone deny that?

Grrr got b*gger all done today, well apart from helping Dad organise mum's b'day. He said have you got 30 mins spare which turned into almost 3 hours!

Feel like I have got nothing done since the start of the school hols and the place was a tip then :( Still not packed for NY, got to organise the kids clothes for the w/e with Mum & Dad in the caravan in OY and I'm at work tomorrow  we leave here at 5am on Fri am. Cue some serious Benny Hill music to get organised and into bed at a reasonable time tomorrow.

If there is anyone in the Calender TV region (Yorks/Lincs) my friend (the one I am off to NY with) and her OH will be featured on Calender tomorrow night (Thurs) with theeir Gyrocopter Business. It is on sometime between 6 and 6.30pm.

Might not get chance to post before next week now BUT I am determined to get this place sorted when I do return, I know it will take a long while but it is seriously starting to get me down.

Take care everyone and I'll catch up with you all soon. xx
