Thanks G&B it is not that big but we can fit a dinning table in. It is pentagonal so not the most sensible shape and has doors into the front and back gardens plus doors into the garage and family room but it does have character.
I've finished the wall I started and am leaving the corner until the light is better tomorrow. Cooking tea now and having a well deserved glass of wine. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi all
and welcome to all the newbies.
Polkadot - great news! Am glad you got it sorted. Think I would flip if doc said I couldn't have mine!
MrsV - Hope move goes well.
Hugs to all who need them.
Today I have cleaned bedroom and landing window and bedroom mirror, washed up, done a load of washing, cleaned kitchen surfaces and hob, and emptied and cleaned bins.
I also slept on sofa again this p.m. - not looking hopeful for going back to work next week  Maybe I can persuade all the children that we all need a nap after lunch!!! (No hope, knowing my class!!)."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Actually, it was me threatening tears and tantrums - sometimes, when you work in an office full of blokes, you have to resort to such tactics!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Evening one and all - haven't had time to catch up on all the threads yet but thought I would share my day - school shoes/trainers all bought at last - kids' feet had grown a lot since the beginning of the summer so worth waiting! Main shop done - just f & v to go - market on Friday! And more milk of course! have bought my first bottle of stardrops too so the oven shelves are soaking as we speak - will have a go in the bathrooms tomorrow - so addictive this site. Neck is much better today so have managed to fly a bit - just still can't turn too quickly to the right! Well in GC budget too so may treat the kids to a curry before we go back to school next week - maybe not Tuesday night jic!:rotfl:
