Went to Asda and picked up a pizza for 50p so that was the kids' tea sorted!
I'm thinking I'll do some more ironing when the kids have gone to bed but I want a bath as well so may just decide to go and languish in the bath with a book!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Hi ladies! Dinner went well - DH is now putting DD2 to bed, DD1 is already in her pjs reading and DS is next!

Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
[STRIKE]Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc [/STRIKE]
Wipe all the windows in these areas!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..

Plus I attacked the kitchen shelf and purged it of old receipts, rehomed hairbobbles ready for school, put loose change in the loose change tin and shredded old bits of correspondence.
Next up its the ironing mountain and putting things away! Kick me if I'm still sitting here in the next 5 minutes!

*sits on floor, rocking back and forth chanting it won't be long till monday*Think my heads gonna go tonight, just can't be bothered to do anything. Hubby away, kids going crazy and bo sleeping.
Hubby is to start tech on monday but needs to find an employer before then, interview tomorrow in a place 40 miles away and if they take him on then i have to leave him there and lift him (no buses or trains will get him there in time). He starts at 8am so need to have kids up and dressed and out the door by 7.15am:eek: , he wants to get a wee car but no funds.
With him working we'll lose part of the grant so there goes the kitchen and damp proofing (both badly needed) then of course i could loss some money and with the price of petrol.
Can't do without the car because of the school runs as well as appointments. Need to get him all the tech stuff tomorrow as he spent all his money on himself. Think i'm sinking tonight might just go to bed.
Sorry for the moan girls just down tonight, no point cleaning as the kids just mess it as well as hubby, going no where fast.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Thanks for your encouraging words. I am getting there and one of my besties just rang to encourage me - going there for supper tomorrow evening which will be lovely.
I have done some arm openings and chalk circles to loosen up so I'm going back to it. DH has left work so one last push before he gets home, then we can eat and he can have the roller all to himself for the ceiling.
Soappie I did think of a picture - I'll do one now to show how far I've got!The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Well, I've flown for an hour. Kitchen is spick and span (until I start cooking dinner shortly!). Paperwork has been sorted. Bathroom tidying and S&S'd. Clothing put away, new clothing tried on and put away (trousers don't need taking up). Washing machine put on. Camera battery on charge ready for tomorrow.
I just need to root around the freezer for dinner (bangers and mash I think) and get sausages out to defrost in the microwave before sticking in the oven. I'll soak my feet whilst they're defrosting and then exfoliate, moisturise and paint toenails whilst they're cooking.
Have just opened a cheeky bottle of white so I say cheers! :beer:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Now, I really need to do some proper flying downstairs once I've chased DD to bed :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
