ok I give up. Just said goodbye to my neighbour, so my afternoon was sort of ruined. She's gone now, I was going to do the washing up but I can hardly keep my eyes open. So I am going to curl up on the sofa and get an hours sleep before tackling house before DH gets home.

Polka it wasn't me - I never go back to sleep, once I'm awake and the first teasmaid cuppa is down my gullet I'm up (or reading the paper)
    Deniseflowers then I think-oops.

Well cries for :coffee: have been ignored - DD is sorting stuff into boxes - since she's the only one doing anything productive I am going to leave her to it.

I am going to iron and then clean the dining room (although the carpet has already been stardopped:wink:) because I bought a new bamboo dish thing (30cm not 50cm one - there were only two in the whole shop - loads of the big ones) and they were way cheaper than the flowery SS ones (and equally beautifil IMHO) so I want a clear, hotspot free table so I can put in on there! It's only a titchy hotspot :rotfl:
Then I'll make my own :coffee:
    Anyone else want one?

It might have been me Polkadot :) I am always going back to bed after I have got up early. I get so tired, fall asleep and then feel like naff all day that I can't be bothered to do anything.

men! I'd be banging around the house if i were you pigpen!

Rach is a happy bunny cos the car passed its MOT with nothing doing (and only cost me £32 as i had a code ;)), saw my friend and am really glad I did (thanks lil_me) for the advice - your words made me go!

just had a flop and now going to do dinner. no idea what yet...think i might try pizza using my dough...could be good, could be a disaster as this batch has double the yeast it should have cos i ruined the first lot with boiling water but rather than churck the whole batch added another pack of yeast :D if not its salmon and wedges for us!

feel shattered now, can't wait for hols tomorrow. gonna have a go at the kitchen whilst I'm in there.

i would need at least6 lots of HHI to catch up lol

Have decided that I am just going to put it all away - it is depressing me sitting all over the spare bed and I have no inclination whatsoever to iron it - HH wouldn't even make a small dent at the moment - and now that I'm keeping on top of washing, which is building up the pile even more, I will then start to do a wash and iron it the same day it is dry (well, thats the plan :o )

Right, I have done nothing today, have been feeling sorry for myself and sulking - god knows why  but have been like a bear with a sore head and shouting at DS and the dogs all morning

Have just snapped out of it though as DS called me up from hanging washing out in tears (allbeit he's 15 tomorrow!) he thought his terrapin was dead because it wasn't moving and he thought it was his fault for not cleaning it out - may have been because I had told him yesterday that if he never, it would die and he was lucky it wasn't dead already from the yukky water in it's tank  wicked mum that I am, but it was dirty...:o

Anyway, long story short, big brave mum had to put her hand in to fish it out, and the bl**dy thing nearly bit me - guess what, it was still alive! just having a little nap till i disturbed it. Have just had a little cuddle with DS (I still love that coz they don't do it anymore at their ages) and I feel better now, so may get something done now...

Anyway, DS has learned his lesson, keep the tank clean and clean the filter more often so it stays that way... last couple of days that thing has been a right headache :rotfl:

So, have put another wash out - 2 so far today! and am about to make my bed - kitchen may have to wait until tomorrow, but then going to put all the washing away as mentioned above and vacuum throughout (doghair everywhere) then get dinner on, or might do that first coz it's getting a bit late, and then sit on my a**e for a bit more this evening, raring to go tomorrow (hopefully)
