Welcome - do you mean you haven't got any clutter to clear? If yes eat a bar of chocolate and then you'll at least have a wrapper to put in the bin :rotfl:
Oh Dusty that's fab - just the excuse I needed;) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Is anyone able to join me in a HHC at 4.30?
I have done so little recently as I've been spending time on school prep. I'd really like to start back at school on Monday with a clean house

yes I will. Determined to at least get the kitchen finished tonight.

Loopy and webitha get doing something you are not here for the ride go shooooo .....

Hex - I often wait with bulbs until the supermarkets start selling them at half price - as you know what you are looking at you can tell if the bulbs are still in good condition.

Polly you are doing really well with your garden, right now the thought of being outside is very appealing.

What colour are you painting PP?

Just on another little break to stretch my neck before finding some masking tape for the next fiddley bit. Not sure if I like it white but at least it looks cleaner.

Valli - Ikea is 4 junctions up the M1 for me, and I never need an excuse to go. Where was the free candelabra voucher from? Ooh, I ha a letter from them while we aere away which I haven't opened yet. I wonder where I put it?

Ho ho serves me right for putting 4 - it's 3 - but I did it again and drove past my exit! On at 29 off at 26 oops missed off at 25 back on at 25 off at 26! In my defence there were roadworks and they are using yellow signs which I didn't see - saw a bloke driving off asked DD where he was going then twigged!

Had a letter a week or so ago with vouchers (because they havent seen me for ages) £10 off on a £60 shop, something to do with sofas and £40, a free Ceremoni candelabra and a free mini blue bag (after 1 Sept but only worth 15p so I won't be nipping back for one:D ) DD busy building her Kassett boxes and ignoring plaintive cries for coffee. I am an Ikea family member (why wouldn't I be - free coffee;) ) I have every loyalty card going:D> Didn't spend enough to use the £10 voucher but did get the candelabra:T :money: which DD is thrilled with - looks like it'll be staying:o . Having the boxes now means we can lose the bulky (but very attractive wooden) PS1 games rack - thinks Freecycle? Charity shop?

If you go Hex they are in the candle section just before the warehouse but in flatback boxes and not easy to spot - loads there so they are prepared for us all!

I can also reduce people to gibbering wrecks in a few sentences.. I have absolutely no tact, no diplomacy and no subtleness... but thank you... I do try.. I sometimes think I just sound like a know-it-all lol

I have to add for a minute when I read Pigpens post I only saw the last line and felt abit stung:eek: then when Id let it all sink in I was reduced to tears:)

Sorry I havent said thanks yet Pigpen, Ive been letting your words mash abit:)
I am very, very glad I've found you all.

And I cant remember if it was dustykitten who said about going back to sleep after getting up and how demotivating it is-or was it Denisefowlers-whichever it was, maybe we should exchange mobys in code;) so we can be each others "text alarms" in the morning:rotfl: Im prone to the same thing and DF often comes in and says "babe, you HAVE to get up not coz I REALLY NEED to leave and DS is up" (Bad mummy)

    My HHC went so:
    • Finished kitchen (dishes etc)
    • Swept and mopped floor.
    • Took dining table cloth, napkins and sofa throws out of TD (will iron infront of telly tonight)
    • Went through latest recipes for supper-going to do a shepherds pie with various veg blended into sauce(DF will NOT eat veg if he knows about it:mad: ) Im also going to try reducing it all so that the mince combines into the sauce so I can use it to top some spag for DS (who will not eat anything other than cocoa (sp) and starch:mad:
    • Wiped down fridge and put some bicarb in (no old muck in there that I could see)
    • Also made humous (finally) using the ingredients list off his tescos tub-can you believe the nerve:rotfl: he actually brought home the packaging from some he bought at Tescos and asked me to look into it as my last batch was not quite right:mad:
Need to find my list-off I go.

Polka it wasn't me - I never go back to sleep, once I'm awake and the first teasmaid cuppa is down my gullet I'm up (or reading the paper)
