Interesting that this is identical to a PistonHeads post from November... a good yarn methinks!!

I've been directed to this and this occurrence at a strip club, or at least something very much like it, has been posted up on another forum - The original poster (OP) asked for, and got, a lot of goodwill from the forum membership and a good number of people coughed up £1 each (myself included) only for the OP to vanish.
I think this link (similar to the above - sorry) is the start of it all:

See any similarities?
Apologies if this is genuine, but there's more than a few parallels here...0 -

Not relevant to the story - although I have to say it's a jolly good read!
Rohypnol Gomer, leaves you suseptible to suggestion and leaves you very compliant to requests that are very out of the ordinary - let alone requests (like enter your pin please sir) that are second nature!! I look forward to seeing how it all pans out.
The comment I want to make is about the Data Protection Act. It doesn't give you the right to demand a private companies CCTV. You're relying on a gesture of goodwill, or a warrant from the police pending a criminal investigation. The DPA has to be the most misinterpreted (partly because it's also the most confusing) bit of law out there!! So many people see it as a big shield that they believe will hide all there information from everyone!!0 -
At the end of the day the OP said that he went to the establishment. He spent £4000 and has to pay it back. Solicitors IMHO will simply add to the bill for this experience.
Did the OP think the "happy hour" was free?0 -
this sounds so made up. Hillarious if it's true though. If I spent 4 grand on 4 hours of watching a lapdance I'd want to remember it....... seems expensive.. the guy needs to go to a place ooop norf next time lolOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 784 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0

Lets be honest he could easily have been so bevvied up to say the 'lap dances are on me everyone!' which could easily result in a 4k bill. The fact he was there until long after kicking out time is odd though Still if you had a customer spending 1k an hour would you kick them out ?0

haha, are you sure these werent authorised by the 'lower regions'?Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0
