I'll answer you Saint_Chris, your question seems to have got lost in sturll's rants.
The middle name is not required, so I would be fine to put dg rather than dmg xGone ... or have I?0 -
But the OP was booking for 4 people and he made a mistake with someone else's name - not his own.names are simple, youve had it most of your life. plus theres a page to check before proceeding. NO excuses when it comes to name.
I wouldn't make a mistake with MY name but maybe this other person is called by his second name, which is why the mistake happened. However, I used a members second name on the booking form instead of their first name which is on their passport.0 -

Surely common sense would come into play here?
Some people know me by a completely different name (long story, and not by my choice!) - if they were to book a flight for me, I would ensure that they knew my correct name.Gone ... or have I?0 -

still is one i think,
its a bit daft really - you book tickets for a friend and give the wrong name , i would always ask how thier names appear on passport to be sure,
secondly- you fail to read terms and condidions before booking - meaning that you then try to blame easy jet for ripping you off.
perhaps i would suggest that you book a seperate ticket in the right name and see if you can get it for a cheaper price and just right off the first amount .
It might save you money on the ammendmant fee and the increase in fare cost

I agree with the above, but you just never know...........its not hard to type all the names on the passport though! :rolleyes:0 -
£100 for the reason stated is a rip off.
So do you think there should be EU wide legislation, with the sharpest of teeth, to stop airlines and other companies having rip off terms and conditions such as this and how would you propose that changes in legislation should be introduced?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

DMG
I agree with you, if I was booking flights for anyone else I would make pretty damn sure that I got everything right.
Even when me & OH book flights, we do it together and double-check everything - which is why you'll probably never see a thread from me titled 'xxx airline ripped me off!!!'.
I was just pointing out to chuckley that the OP didn't make a mistake with his own name but with someone else's.
It may be a mistake that you and I (and a number of other posters on here) are unlikely to make, but it IS a mistake that I can understand some people making.0 -
i have seen men with breasts lol it means nothing ..Did you not notice my scars down there?
