some of the readers comments under that are making my blood boil.
Sorry, you need to read the post above; it's the Daily Mail. That's reason enough for me not to click on the link, even though it's covering an event I'm involved in
You should totally understand that people who read\post on that site are the vilest form of humanity around, justifying their resistance by measuring their level of misery against everyone else, and then making the others feel worse, to make themselves feel better.
Don't take it to heart, the posters there aren't real people.---reech!

I have it confirmed now that the only money they have actually taken from my bank account is
15/06/2010ASDA HOME DELIVERY £11.**0 -
I have an order due for delivery tomorrow and don't know what to do about it. I genuinely thought I'd won a competition. It sounds like phoning customer services doesn't give you a reliable response and I just do not trust them. Anyone else able to confirm what compensation they are offering?0

I only had £13 taken from my account and I accepted my delivery but Asda called and said they will be taking the difference from my bank in the next day or 2. I asked what about other people who were in the same boat as me and they said they will keep trying to take the monies from peoples banks until it gets paid back to Asda.
My receipt says £13 but the hand held scanner showed the full amount.
Oh well, I needed the shopping anyway so nothing lost.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. £7 ish taken out ... I'll be pretty annoyed if they are able to take out £75 more. I would have done a normal shopping list of £35, only seeing the competition win I decided to get some luxuries for my partner coming back .. scented things and stuff.
But all this I would have cancelled if I got the phone call before I had unpacked and started using goods like toilet cleaners and food for sunday lunch.0 -

My situation is a tad bizarre...
I ordered on Saturday afternoon, £75.88 + £3.50 delivery charge, total to pay was £4.38 after £75 evoucher was deducted, I had requested my delivery for 6.30pm tonight however I got a call at lunchtime today telling me it had been a mistake etc and stating that I would be getting a £5 voucher + Free delivery to say sorry and that tonights delivery was to be cancelled.
Here's the twist though, at 6.30pm the Asda delivery still turned up with all my booze on board! - I told the driver that it was supposed to be cancelled but was honest with him in saying 'I am tempted to still accept it' and he was egging me on saying that I was welcome to it (saved him lugging it back to shop!) but when he checked his PDA it stated I would be billed for full amount (no £75 off) so I decided to send him packing with it.
I have logged on to my Asda.com account tonight and no vouchers or free delivery has been applied yet, anyone else had this happen?0 -
I chickened out and scaled down my order. No-one from Asda had attempted to contact me and I couldn't be bothered to phone as running up my phone bill would have just made my blood boil more. I'd actually bought myself a new outfit thinking my competition win would mean free groceries!0

I've now had a response to my email complaint. They've said they'll refund my delivery cost plus add a £5 voucher to my account. Not showing on my account yet.0
