If everyone who has been effected by this writes to watchdog watchdog@bbc.co.uk & consumer direct surely something will be done about it.
It happened to me and I have been on the phone with them fighting, but I cant do it anymore, they wont give in, most compensation they will offer is £20 and I looked on my asda account and they havent even applied it!! I am too late to do shopping now as shops close at 5pm on Sunday, so I am screwed, but they dont even care.....0 -
I think most of us, including myself have received confirmation emails with the voucher taking off £75. Fair enough if ASDA realise and then fix the 'mistake' on their website but people like myself, and i'm sure all of the others who have posted have bought these goods in good faith and the voucher should be honoured. Do they think it projects a good company image in this age of financial crisis when they reward customers and them leave them without their shopping and their money (which takes a few days to be refunded/for the reserve of funds in your bank account to be taken off).
They could at least have sent me an email or given me a phone call.2012 wins...McCain Film Rental...Smooth Radio Gig Tickets...Tropicana Orange Juice...Balance Me Skincare Set...Book...Dave Spikey Tickets...Karrimor Boots...Jabra Speakers...

I sat down to order yesterday from Asda as I occasionally do, and also got the £75.00 voucher. Delivery for between 12 and 2pm today. 2pm came and went no shopping
I rang the delivery helpline at 2.30 (10 mins to answer!!!!) gave order number and they cut me off! rang again (another 10 mins) to be told they had cancelled my order They couldn't explain why. I suggested that it might have something to do with the voucher code so they put me through to someone else who claimed he couldn't hear me and he cut me off!  3rd time (another 10 mins) confirmed that my delivery had been cancelled because of the error on the voucher code. So no phone call and no shopping at 3.10 on a Sunday. I asked them to reinstate my order and reschedule delivery at the original price that I was happy to pay before THEY OFFERED the discount. Thankfully no little ones so no nappies and essentials like formula. Will not let this go away I don't do facebook but I will be joining the list. Asda will be getting a letter from me with a copy to watchdog. Oh and for their info I didn't go mad adding things but my bill was £175. and once my delivery arrives tomorrow they can kiss my backside goodbye:D

Just been on Hotukdeals and been on the profile of the opening poster of this deal. It says in the stats that the last time online was 18th May 2009 which is strange. ALso I cannot understand why they have not posted again.
I for one am blocking my card now as just suppose Asda had been hacked???0 -

I have also used the dettol e-voucher and received the discount on my shopping that should have arrived this evening. asda did contact me to offer a £5 voucher which I declined. However I have checked my account and it has been debited already for the reduced price, surely once the transaction has gone through and my account has been debited they must have to up hold it,has this been the case for most people?0

Raich - Unfortunately they wouldn't uphold the offer for me and the driver took the goods back. I called the number given to me by the driver and spoke to the store manager who agreed with all of my points that this is not my fault and asda HAVE to uphold this - I have a confirmation email and nobody bothered to contact me. In a court of law this would stand - asda would have to pay up what they owe. Myself and a few others have written to Watchdog, This Morning and trading standards. I have also created a facebook page, so hopefully asda will give people what they deserve with all of the bad publicity - the money is a drop in the ocean for asda but a bad reputation may have a very negative effect on their foot fall
If anyone would like to join my facebook group I would be really greatful

Fingers crossed for tomorrow, although if FB group is to be believed they are now honouring all orders!! Tesco did when the £5 wine voucher appeared as a £50 off, they even sent an email stating they were aware of the error and to enjoy a drink on them !! GL guys !!0
