But its not mis use of codes by anyone. Asda actually ask you if you want it adding to your basket. Its not like anyone has shared the code or anything like that.0

its meant to be a computer error and are going to charge full price peopleshould check before ordering
I am leaving mine and NOT ringing them and giving them the option of my cancelling.
I have done nothing wrong. I opened a new account and after i put in my card details I was "asked" if i wanted to add a voucher. They asked me and I did nothing wrong at all and followed the adding the voucher thinking I had won a competition. It was then they added to my account the £75 voucher. They then confirmed it had been accepted when they sent my confirmation email and up to yet I assume they are only charging me the £10 they quote in the email. IF the prices have gone up on their groceries (as they can) or they have to substitute any items that I accept, if they dishonour their voucher then that I do not and the shopping goes back to Asda.0 -
was waiting for my asda delivery at 12.30 today,

I have just had a call from Asda saying the £75 off my shopping for the 'Dettol Competition' was an error on their part and did I want my shopping at the full price? I said yes so long as they gave me free delivery and they agreed. The £5.50 will be creited to my account within 10 days. I guess we all need to remember that there is no such thing as a free lunch!0

This exact thing just happened to me. I'm so gutted!!
Now I've got to re do my shopping as I had to cancel the order because I spent more than normal thinking I'd won a comp!
I'm a bit miffed about having to wait for my money to be refunded I'm skint as it is. I haven't used asda in months because the service I received last time I used them was atrocious, I only went back because they sent me a £10 off voucher.
Back to Tesco I go!!0 -
I did my shopping online yesterday and clicked on the £75 dettol voucher. shopping was due today at 10 and they phoned at 9.30 saying voucher was a mistake. I know from xmas disaster that you don't get your money back right away so I had to accept my shopping when it came a few minutes ago. I feel that Asda totally rip you off. I said on the phone that I wasn't accepting their right to remove the voucher and I want a letter. They think they can get away with that and offer you £5.0
