Was it the "technical error" when trying to book a delivery slot? I was unable to book a slot for about 3 hours earlier today, phoned them and said they were aware of the error. It was working normally again when I went in to book a slot around 4.30pm today. I was under the impression it was region-specific though, because they asked for my postcode to log it.

I've registered twice with Asda (different email addresses) and have used both accounts several times to get groceries delivered.

I've got 2 free delivery 'codes' sitting in one account at the moment and have been trying for the past few days to order from that account. But it keeps messing up and saying there's a technical error. However when i log in with the other account (which doesn't currently have any free delivery codes in it) it seems to work as normal.
I wondered if they are trying to lock me out for having more than one account..?!
I gave in and phoned cust services yesterday. He asked for login email etc etc. He didnt notice (or at least say anything) about the fact i have 2 accounts.
He said he'd pass it to tech team and I should try log in again this afternoon.
I have and it's still not working, although the other account is.
I would probably go ahead and book via the 2nd account (and pay for delivery) if it werent for the fact i have saved the full shopping list that i want (b4 i got tech error first time). So everything's sitting there - a couple of clicks and shopping would be ordered! but if i use my 2nd account ive got re-do the whole shopping list from scratch. Argh!

I know loads of people on here have registered multiple accounts to get free delivery codes. Has anybody else had this problem I'm getting, or do you think it's nothing to do with that?

    Edit:
Opened a 3rd account just now and used a £10 off code I found in the codes thread.
I was able to keep my old shopping list open whilst using the new account so didn't take too long to add stuff. Result.

To be honest Im getting rather annoyed with Asda. It is supposed to be the cheapest shop to buy your groceries or so they say! Yet their prices are always going up on things I buy. They have stopped giving out these codes which really helped everyone and now they have £5 delivery on most days.. Im sure I could go to my local Asda and get a taxi back for less than that! When I first got together with my husband I used to be able to buy 2 weeks shopping for 2 people for just over £30, now Im lucky if I dont scratch £100.And that is food only, no treats or anything remotely nice! Its ridiculous.
And their new system of saying "these items arent available and there are no substitutes either! is ridiculous also. For example.. malted wheaties not available and no other substitute yet there are the shreddies and oh look I can buy them! Just a way to save themselves some money rather than provide something else for us.
