Beware of ASDA multisave purchases. Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed that these are not going through properly.
Last week, I purchased two CRAYOLA Colour Surge - Draw & Sketch, advertised as £6.43 or "2 for £8" and was billed £12.86, leaving me £4.86 out of pocket.
Today I bought 2 x 500g NESTLE Shredded Wheat Bitesize and 2 x 600g NESTLE Cheerios both advertised as "2 for £2". Only the multisaving for one of these transactions was made, leaving me £3 out of pocket.
Later, I noticed that the "2 for £2" apples went through at full price ... but by this point I am well past having the patience for picking up the 'phone to Customer Services.
Unlike when adding the items initially to your trolley, the paper billing deducts multisavings at the end, making it curiously more difficult to follow and account for. It is a similar task to calculating Child Tax Credit.
This sum of £7.86 I thankfully noticed and got refunded, however how many times does it go unnoticed by the shopper...? TD.0 -

It doesn't matter if you miss these as long as you keep the receipt. Next time you go shopping take it to Customer Services then and pint out the mistake. You'll get a full refund plus a £2 ASDA gift card.Kevan - a disabled old so and so who, despite being in pain 24/7 still manages to smile as much as possible0 -

Thats not fair for people who dont live near an Asda, I get my shopping delivered every week from Asda and they have often mis charged me and all they say on the phone is sorry and put the money in my account a week later, no mention of giftcardsI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. My first time ordering online & that was only because of the lack of 4 for £3 deals in my local store(s), wasn't expecting it to be such a palaver!0 -
