Batty and Snappy made one of the "Elf Yourself" videos overnight and left it on the computer for the kids to find this morning. It was of the two of them, both children and our dog. We have already had it on about 300 times this morning, but my son and daughter both think it is fantastic.
If anyone is interested in making one just Google "Elf Yourself" it is the top search result. If anyone did one of these videos last year, the programme is much improved now and there are 4 different dances to choose from.

Snow Toes came back late last night, and left the children a photo diary of every thing he's done since he arrived and left! DD particularly loved the picture of him falling in love with her soft toy she sleeps with.
Have an Ofsted inspector on my last minding day (Fri) - she is going to think I'm insane when I set it up watching elf for the children to find when they get in from school!!!!:o0 -

today peppermint left the kids 12 gold bells with a message tied to each of them, the 2 for my kids said always believe (for the oldest) keep christmas in your heart ( for the youngest) and 'Jingle bell of joy with love from emily and aiden' on all the rest, with instructions to hand out to people the y love or are special to them. It went down really well at em's school all the kids loved them including mine. We recentlly watched The Polar express and em thinks that only people who believe in santa can hear the bells so I was also chuffed. (I can't take credit for this as I found it on a American site but I got all the bellls in the pound shop and I can't believe how well it went everyone thought it a lovely idea, on the site they suggest leaving them on a bush for strangers to find ( with out the kids names) which i also thought was a lovely idea but we had no bells left!):beer:0

today we were invited to a tea party by an elf living nearby, it was all going well until we left the room to look at something with the kids, then came back to find the 2 elves being savaged by their dog!!!!
chipper didn't come off too badly- need to wash his mangled beard and try and dry it back to normal, the other elf wasn't so lucky- lost both his legs. Luckily the boys (6 and 8 yrs old) were upstairs and we reassured the littlies (4 and 2) that we would send him to elf hospital overnight ( super glue to the rescue!)

Snow Toes got the rainbow drops and some juice out today and started to watch Elf before we got in from school! The children thought it was great, told snow toes off, and finished the rainbow drops. My Ofsted lady was sick - and didn't come, so at least she doesn't think I'm delusional (sp!?)
DD announced whilst watching the end of ELF that she is going to ask Santa on Tuesday if she can visit an Elf house one day, and she's going to be sad when Snow Toes leaves......... Bless......................0 -
