Hi today we got a letter from Peppermint - through the regular post thanking us for showing him a lovley time and going in to a little detail about what he's been up to and how nice our tree is. I no idea who this is from but if they're reading this - Thankyou, you've made him even more believable!:rotfl:

We didn't think Peppermint had done anything this morning except leaving a note to tell us what a lovely day he'd had yesterday on the santa train and how nice it was to see santa again! Untill we got to nana's house where her xmas tree had been redecorated with carrots!
Not much time left before he goes - Emily's even wished christmas wasn't so soon as she'll miss him so much guess were gonna have a tearfull farewell on xmas eve

  • if you go to http://www.claus.com/naughtyornice/nn_hmpg2.php you can type in your childs name and see if naughty or nice - both of mine are "just" in the nice list but need to improve..... you can re-do it until you find a message you like!!!

bertie stayed in and rested today after banging his head yesterday, but did leave candy canes.

i know whats happening xmas eve but not sure in between.

  • Last night our elves left tickets for the children to go to an aladdin panto this afternoon. They got a lovely suprise, and had a great time at the panto.Tonight they are going to leave christmas stockings for them to hang tommorrow,a santa stop here sign to put out in the garden, a christmas plate to put santa's cookies on and a magic key to let santa in with. On christmas eve while the kids are having a bath they are going to put new bed sets on their beds (both kids had aksed for these for christmas but thought this would be a good way of getting them in bed) and they are leaving out new pjs aswell.
Will really miss all the fun but will be glad to be able to watch t.v again at night instead of creating mischief.
I'm sure i will be looking for more things to use in the sales to put away for next year!

I can't believe it, but I am actually getting quite emotional getting the final elf surprise ready. I (well, Batty and Snappy) have made a Christmas Eve hamper with all sorts of goodies for tomorrow (pjs, snowman chocs, activity books, reindeer food, magic key, cookie and milk and carrot plates to paint, cookie dough, carrots, etc). They have made new stocking hangers for the fireplace too and are going to put the stockings up tonight with them and fall asleep in the stockings!

DH suggested that we 'adopt them' and keep them for the whole year, but when I asked if he had another 365 ideas he soon changed his mind!
  • I don,t know if this link has already been posted http://www.noradsanta.org/en/home.html but may help keep kids amused. They can track santa as he moves around the world.
