Got my santas helper at Clintons, plus a tree decoration. not going to call mine an elf, but a helper in training!! Then I can have a whole year to find an elf to come and supervise next year!!
I only got one elf for my 2 boys, do most people have 1 for all children or 1 each?0 -
Just caught up with this thread, and the other one on the forum with the ideas for the elves to get up to . I'm copying all the ones i like and didn't do last year into a word processing document so that i have them all to hand.
Can't wait to get started, i was going to leave it till about a week into december like last time, but don't think i can hold out that longmight have to start on the 1st! better sort out a little journal book ,and maybe make him a new bed- maybe he could've forgotten to bring his bed this time and we could present him with "one i made earlier"
oooh i can see i won't be able to sleep now for the excitement, better get off here quick and go and calm downWord for 2023 …PROACTIVE 🧡 2023 -decluttering campaign 1020/2023 ⭐️⭐️Saving towards paying off car in November…£720/£1500 🚗0 -
I have told my daughter (6) that last time I spoke to Santa he told me Mrs Claus had written us a letter asking us to do her a favour and that he hopes we can help...
The letter will arrive on the 1st giving us time to reply saying we are happy to help, then the 'elf' (tatty teddy one from Clintons) will arrive Mid December so we have enough time to do things but not so long that the ideas run out!!
Had never heard of this idea until I found this thread and I really think it's a magical idea!!0 -
Hi all, not been in for ages and ages.
Lovely to see this revived again.
Just ideas:
Hang 2 or 3 pairs of dad's pants on xmas tree and hang elf upside down as if he nearly fell off hanging them up.
Send dad for Mcdonalds(dads I think will like that) and leave elf and wrappers in the car.
Leave elf trying to do a xmas jigsaw puzzle.
I look forward to reading all the elf antics again this year.:j0 -
