  • hmmm. one pound fifty a day. wow Sarah I never thought of it like that.

    I shall do that!

week is nearly over THANK GOd.

I am so tired and have a headache but I worked an extra shif tonight so that was cool!

  • Got another vets bill today.

not great - should total about 300 quid all told.

Also all the chopping and changing of creams in my 100 day challenge has made my spots much worse. I have ended up ordering anti spot stuff, a new cleanser and some cream to use at night. I get so depressed about my skin. on the plus side I used up/binned(I found I was allergic to some - guess they were older then I thought) all my old toners, cleansers and mositurisers and had to buy new stuff, got simple toner, superdrug's own cleanser and simple mosituriser - all much cheaper then the brands I would have bought. Hopefully with a regular routine the skin will calm down.

I also ordered some books from Amazon, I paid my BC card an extra 25 quid and used that. not great, its what I always do - think some book has the answer to my being fat, single and unhealthy.

Mum went to bed after her cataract op yesterday, I got quite lonely sitting down here!

Must get up early tomorrow and tackle Avon and E bay. Had a terrible headache - I would have said migraine but it didn't last, I went to sleep with a heat pack over my face and woke up four hours later feeling great! but it meant I didn't do anything today

    heres to a productive Sunday

    xx

    Hi Buffy
Sorry i have n't been around for a while, but I HAD to get my visitors permit stuff sorted out, so hence my absence.

Ref the dream house, you buy the house WHERE YOU WANT TO LIVE not somewhere that happens to be close to your mums. If you are still close by and she is always popping in and then you feel you can't ask her to leave, all that you will be doing is recreating the situation that you have now.

Sorry if that is a bit blunt, but it just struck me as you putting someone else first AGAIN rather than picking a house, where you want to be. Also your dream job MAY NOT BE near your mum, so your dream house may not be either. Don't just limit your job seeking to places that are near your mum. You have other siblings that SHOULD pick up the slack if necessary, not expect YOU to do it always.

Going back a bit, ref the Ofted inspection, how can it have gone ok I was wondering, didn't anyone think to mention the toxic environment you have to work in? You school sounds terrible to work in.

Are you doing any exercise currently? Could you fit in walking to work? Or leaving the car a bit away from school and walking the rest of the way? Just that it would give you some time to yourself to unwind. I suggest this, because at the moment it looks like you get up into a toxic environment, go to work into a toxic environment, and then go home - to a toxic environment. You have NO BREAK from stress, and I am sure that is contributuing to your headaches, tiredness and low mood.

    So give yourself a break!

Well done on the decision you made about the studying. But have you finished the course that you havne't failed? It would be a shame perhaps to give that one up if you have a chance to finish it. And the course will still count towards a qualification no matter how long you leave it.

right i will stop there, as i think i have said enough.

    catch up soon

    Xmas Saver!
Hope everything going ok, sorry Buffy you seem to of been on the wars one way and another, I know your fighting the pennies, and looking afta mum, but is there any chance you can get a couple of days away ova the xmas break?
Im sorry about the OU course, I know from experience its not the easiest thing to do, but sometimes you have to put urself 1st.
    Hows the tutoring going?
    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • I say semi update cos its not like anything much is happening!

    But.

I am saving my pennies, literally for a house. sounds mad but it was something Nymedia said - she is saving to buy a house outright, and something sarah123 said about how saving for a house would pyscologically (I can't spell!) a good thing to do.

so my pennies are going to towards a house.

I figure I have been filling up my life with stuff to avoid actually "doing" my life. Impossible Ou courses I am doing for the sake of it, rescuing animals I barely have time to care for (they are cared for but I mean other things slide - seeing friends or keeping on top of the bills) I love my pets but now I am working a second job time is pretty limited. plus Avon plus E bay plus driving.

So I am taking a break from some things. no decision made about OU, no e bay stuff,

focus on school and tutoring, which I still love spend some time with my Hamsters (x2) and my rat, who is now alone after my other two passed on recently. Sounds silly I know but I really want a simple life. So that is what November is all about, slowing down!

    see you all later

Have strawberry tart and cream to eat!

I've seen her posts on that too, it has really inspired me, I would love to have enough to buy a house outright. I don't think I will get that far but it has really inspired me to get as much money together as possible and then overpay my mortgate, have you seen the threads on that? It's amazing how much you can save. That;s why I want to do the 4k challenge, I want as much as possible for a mortgage, and having a house to aim for will really inspire me (I hope). Glad you are doing it too, we can talk each other out of buying fabby things;)
