I use the Lidl face and night cream, the Q10 stuff, at 1.89 a jar and it's fab, smells lovely and although I have quite sensitive skin, have had no side effects whatsoever.
It's definitely worth a try, you could always use it as hand cream if you're not impressed with it for your face. Occasionally Lidl sell it at half price so I stock up on it then when it's even cheaper!!!!:j
Thanks for all your help!!!:T0 -
lidals in bordon hampshire were having what seems like a 1 day sale of all the stuff they could not sell yesterday sat, everything a £1. real bargain i thought, got loads of stuff, like an inflateable boat, motorbike jackets, garden hoses amongst other things. any way getting to the point, at around 2pm the store manager shouted out " fill your trolly for a fiver," so i did 400 boxes of washing machine tablets normally £3.99 and 100 bottles of washing up liquid,99p along with several other items, a really cool find i think, doubt they will do the same again for a while. not sure what i will do with all this stuff, prob give most away to my family, still i thought i would like to share this with you all.:T0

It is rumoured that Lidl have about €100,000,000 worth of unsold weekly specials merchandise in storage (German Wikipedia). It doesn't say whether that's for Germany alone or world-wide.
Don't know about Aldi.0 -
I was so inspired by this thread I went to Aldi's for the first time this morning- I'm so impressed!!
I got:
- cheese puff (exactly like Wotsits)
- Ice coffee (exactly like Starbucks fraps if you close your eyes)
- Madonnas (look like oreo cookies)
- air freshners
- freezer bags
- part baked assorted rolls
My mum bought loads as well. I could have bought TONS more. Very impressed and I'll definitely be going back. I'm going to try Lidl's next week too.
Thanks for all the tips guys0 -

In Siskine Drive in Glasgow's Maryhill a LIDL closed down about 2 years ago and has now reopened as - the Bargain Centre and it sells off weekly specials at up to 75% off the shop price, It is stowed to the gunnels with all sorts of things, obviously the ones that sell out straight away never make it here but they had loads of shoes, sportswear, clothing, bags etc.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Just had the LIdl email update. Their Xmas stuff is in next week. Buy it. In large quantities
Their Stollen is delicious, as are the mini stollen, and they have loads of genuine German and Italian Xmas goodies. I love it as we can have a few special treats at a fraction of the usual price. They also get goose, duck and lobster nearer to xmas at silly prices.

January last year in the Motherwell branch they were giving away free stollen. I only took a couple but some folk were carrying off armfuls. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
