don't know if this has been mentioned before, there's a lot of pages on this thread, aand before I tell you what I found, can I say that i still use lidl and aldi more than tesco asda etc......I bought a tim of tuna from lidl, admittedly a couple of years ago, opened it and found that the tuna had bluer eyes than me....put me off buying tinned stuff from there for a while and have never bought tuna from there sincecheerio hen0

I can honestly say that Lidl's Tuna Steaks in oil are excellent quality. Might be worth trying again. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

might try again, but can't promise. Tinned tuna to me is now like eggs, I can really fancy scrambled eggs or an omelette, and am really looking forward to eating them and I cook the omelette or whatever but take one look and go yeeeuch. I know...so wasteful but cant help itcheerio hen0

It is getting difficult to find decent tinned tuna. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... Lidl - BUY:
Kegs of beer, £8.99 for 5L, both the wheat beer and normal beer is very nice.
Cherry Liquor £4.99 (I think) - mix 1 shot this + 1 shot Iceland Peach Schnapps, top up with orange juice and ice, blummin' lovely party drink
Prosecco - £3.50 Great deal as others have noted, tastes great.
Black Forest Ham - £2.50 - big chunk of really good quality ham, keeps for weeks, can also fry it like bacon and put it in stews etc. Great stuff.
Chorizo - £2 ish - Authentic brand, find it in Supersol etc. in Spain, nice texture, great fried with brown sauce
Rye Bread (49p) / Ryvita-esque stuff (40p ish) - Great for snacking, I like the Ryebread with Lidl cheeses (also good value) and their smoked trout (£1.99), fake caviar (99p jar) or Herring (99p).
Chewing gum (45p?) - There's 3-4 flavours, comes in pouches. I like my menthol ones, so I get the "fresh" ones, but there's Dental and even honey and lemon. I prefer these to airwaves etc. and you get way more for your money. Probably need it after all that fish I just mentioned
Meatballs (30p ish) - Ok, in a tin, definately processed etc. but actually quite nice, I bought some because a stray moggy was showing up in my garden and it might have wanted a change from all the fish and gum I was giving it. Tried it myself, nice....0 -

.
Interesting - do you need any special fittings/adaptors/gas cylinders to get the beer from those little kegs ? Do you have to drink it all in one session or will it keep for a bit ?0 -
Necked another very nice bottle tonight
along with a nice blonde beer from your part of the world Adnams Explorer
Although the Adnams brewery is just a few miles away from where I live, just down the A12 to Southwold, I must admit I've never tried any Adnams ales so far.
This will be sorted, though!0 -
I have looked through a lot of this thread but not all so forgive me if anyone has already answered my question.
Has anyone tried Aldis Q10 day and night cream? They are £1.89, which is about £7 cheaper than the brand I can't afford to use anymore.
I really hope someones going to say they're nice0 -
