German Lager - Lidl Perlenbacher Premium pils, Aldi Steinhauser
German Weissbier - Aldi Schofferhofer
All top spec and excellent value in this country of hyperinflated beer prices0 -
each to their own Crisp, but I wouldn't use them again. To be fair, during the day they weren't too bad, although I thought they didn't absorb the pee too well and my soon didn't seem to comfortable in them. Also, they were probably better than the Tesco cheapo brand too.
I will have to check out the frozen lobster, it sounds a steal...0 -

Last year I saw the Lobsters, advertised in Lidl's own posh nosh type booklet.
I kept umming and ahing about them (lets face it, when was the last time you saw a lobster to buy for £4.99?).
By the time I went to get one, some local enterprising resterauter bought the sodding lot up (nigh on 300 Lobster) and proceeded to sell them throughout the year for £22 a pop.
Nice.
Anyway, I see Lidl havn't advertised them on their weekly flyer this year, so thankyou for letting me know!
I went out and bought 4. Yesterday we had Lobster and Mash. How decadent! And honestly - a fiver for a whole Lobster? Go and get them now!!!0 -
