    Heck, I just worked out that's actually cheaper than buying their 4pt bottles at £1.40, which equals 51p per litre.

    It is a good deal - popped in another Aldi today and price was the same there.

    Another supermarket and I'm not sure if they are still doing it but a couple of months back Iceland were bucking the trend and were well below the other usual rip off merchants for 4 pints of milk £1.25ish iirc
  • I was in a supermarket the other day and bought two 100g jars of their name brand coffee at a £1 per jar.
    If I'd gone for the 200g jar it was £2.88. :coffee:


    I pay £1 for 2.27 litres (4 pts) of milk at FF.

    Out of curiousity, what's FF? I can only think of 'Fine Fare' and I'm pretty sure they ceased to exist several decades ago!
