Hi Floss, the shoes are a pale gold, fabric shoes, it's almost a creamy colour
Mine have a peep toe, hers have 2 straps over but I think she needs a 6 in those.
Our dresses are a chocolatey colour with little cream buttons down the back. Trying to find shoes was really tricky with a 15 year old in tow who wants heels and who positively scowled at typical bridal satin shoes.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

Hello all,
Not a lot happening with me atm, just work and the usual stuff. Made goulash tonight, that is in the freezer
Had a carp day yesterday - snapped my (sentimental) necklace and lost the charm, then left £20 in the bloody cash machine!
I am thinking about joining AM's change your life club...but am quite scared. I am just really pee-d off atm, and want to sort stuff out.
Catowen - here's hoping you get that cheque! We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

Blairweech, the money goes back into the machine very quickly, have you rung the bank as they can check on their records and you might get it credited back.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0

Evening all!
Squiggly - big hug to your DD and her friends. This is just too hard for people so young to face.
Sorry people, I haven't read the thread....been glued to Kim & Aggie, Big Brother, and Embarrassing Illnesses more or less since I got home from wo*k. I'll really peeved off as I didn't get the job I went for at the beginning of the week. That's five interviews I've been to, and five jobs I didn't get. I feel such a failure and it is really getting to me.
It's someone's wedding presentation at wo*k tomorrow and it's going to be in my office. There will be people from all around the hospital coming - apparently there's going to be loads of food, woohooo!! It's being supplied by co-workers rather than through caterers, so I think I'll make some Twinks and some scones. 11.00pm is a great time to start baking!!!!
Bye all

Squiggly...hugs to you and your DD
Snowy....their loss if they won't give you a job...but these interviews are really only practice for the best ever job...might just be a while before it turns up!
Hugs to all in need or want
Sleep well

Evening, morning, whatever! Finished work early and thought that I'd read today's thread! Missed out this morning, went off to get pickling stuff, mainly value vinegar, and then for coffee with one of my bestest friends, got back just as the kids were waking up - midday! lol!
Took them off to Dunster today, little village near Minehead, and visited the castle, NT, so free as we're members! Had a lovely look round, and wore ourselve out climbing the paths round the gardens, then went into the village for a pasty and ice cream!
Got home and had a go with the girls at the card making, bought lots of bits yesterday, great fun and some fab results.
Then quickly took dough out of bm and made the pizzas for the kids tea and then I went off to work. Sitting now with Poirot on telly and curry cooking - oh I'll pay for the late night tomorrow! Well actually it's really an early night, my lovely pal, who is also my boss, told me to take an early night cos of all the extra hours I've done, but the fact I finished yesterday at 4am and woke up at 5.45am will prob mean I'll conk out about 6pm tonight!
Hope everyone has had a good day xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
