    Good Morning All

Good Luck PP - I find that a few teenage girls are far nosier than a whole load of 9 year old boys.:D

Has rained overnight but dry at the moment so OH should clear the washing pile today. Have Tai Chi this morning and will be ironing all afternoon - dont mind though I prefer it to the horrible filing job I had in the office yesterday.

Had a lovely night out with my friends last night, however have decided that Tapas is not my favourite food.

Not sure what is for dinner tonight - think will let OH decide and get something out of the freezer.

    Have a good day.

Morning. Rain on it's way to make the 24th consecutive day of rain. It looks as though the run will come to an end by Friday, but it's already ruined my garden, crops, honey and every plan I had... So pretty crap summer.
The big boot sales have been cancelled and the steam rally....

Still on holiday, so not sure what to do today. I have been renovating an old dresser that was salvaged from the skip and it's looking pretty good. Need to get out though.

More medals for the Brits. I think the feel good factor is keeping us going.... just as well as we might all be reaching for the asprins and length of rope.

    Cheers

    Good morning everyone :)

No sunshine here yet, but the local radio station are forecasting sun for today!
    :jHurrah :j

*edit - radio station has now changed forcast to 'showers' :(

Not really got much planned for today. Collecting DH from work this afternoon and then off to visit his great uncl and make a fuss of him - he is celebrating his 95th birthday this week!! MrT is dropping my shopping off this morning, so can't really go out or do anything untill that gets here, but that means I can spend a bit of time decluttering the house (believe me, it needs it!)

Kathy - your breasts are wonderfull, thank you so much for showing them to me;)

stressedoutmumof1 - I'm also staring to get food in for Christmas now. I find it much easier buying 2 or 3 items a week in the run up to December. I don't have the stamina to 'do' the shops once December gets here! Far too many people pushing and shoving.

Pippa.S - thank you for the update on the lady from Loving Hands. It sounds like it is going to be a long recovery for her both physically and emotionally. It also sounds like she is going to have a really supportive group of people around her who are going to help her through it.

Have a good day, everyone, and hugs to those who need / want them.

what a surprise, its raining ;) I'm struggling to remember the last dry day we had.
one thing's for sure will be no drought or water rationing here.
council staff are on strike today, so although kids only went back to school yesterday they have a day off today. of course its our bin day too. :( and the rubbish bin is full, no way it will last another two weeks. I hope they have plans for a catch up.
tonight's tea is quiche, not home made but a bargain from asda ;)

    Good morning everyone.

No rain here at the moment but I think it's forecast. I have towels to hang on the line so we'll see how it goes.

N9eav - people there must be so fed up with the rain. As you say, thank goodness for the continual good results in Beijing! We're doing phenomenally well but I hope the politicians don't start taking all the credit like they usually do!

(((Hugs))) to Smoky, PenPin (good luck with the party!), Jayward, Essexgirl'sDad, Candygirl's Dad, Beth and her DBs, Ajeando's DH and Silvercharming's DH.

    Jackie0 - fantastic news!

Well, DS 2 phoned from his honeymoon which is sadly drawing to a close; they are having a brilliant time and he says the weather is 'awesome'! Well into the 30s every day.

OldMcDonald - thanks for the compliments on my breasts!

I too have been planning for Christmas; in fact, I start in January with the presents because I look for bargains and stash them away - I need to have a look through what I've got so I can work out what I need to get. I am also knitting gifts as well as knitting for the Wooligans. I shall make a start on the food when I go shopping this week, I think. I have £80 in Co-op vouchers from their dividend scheme and should have another payout before December so I think all the food and drink will be paid for that way! I haven't told DH about the vouchers because I want to surprise him with the money that would have been spent and put it towards something we can both enjoy. We want to go back to Marbella next year - DS2 and his new wife are honeymooning there in a friend's luxury villa and it's made us want to go back! I shall start saving for that in January.

Anyway, I have LOADS of office work to do today so I need to get the housew**k done asap, walk up to the Post Office to post some letters and then get to work.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Pippa - thanks for updating OldMcD on Lou; I feel awful for not having mentioned her accident and I didn't visit Loving Hands yesterday so will do that right now.

    Good morning everyone :hello:

I'm up earlyish today as I'm going to the dentist. Well, not that it means that I should get up early but I'm meeting up with a friend in Bedford for shopping and lunch (we need all day for these things, even in Bedford) before my dental appointment at 3.30pm. The dentist is my dad's old school friend and when I couldn't find an NHS dentist round here, I decided that if I went private I'd go to someone that I could trust. Problem being is that my dad is 62, so I wonder how much longer the dentist will keep going for and the problem will start again!

I'm a little worried about my right leg. Ever since we got back from our hol, my right foot and lower leg has been a little "puffy". It's gone down a bit, but it's definitely more "puffy" than the left one. I'm thinking that maybe I should try to get a doctor's appointment?

Supper tonight will be the left over veg lasagne that I made yesterday. As I'll be having lunch out, I've saved myself a small portion.

Anyway, I need to get sorted as I'll have to leave at 9am........ honest!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Good morning!

Overcast here so the washing will have to dry on the airer. It rained stair rods here yesterday! Instead of gardening I shall do some baking, rock buns and hob nobs I think.

Todays list of jobs includes making a birthday card, thank goodness I can find the crafting stuff now it is out of dd's room. She will be moving back in october so hopefully we will have time and energy to get it decorated before then.

Ds is on his way back from Singapore but is off to Spain on wednesday so not sure when I will see him, hopefully soon though as I am missing him and his lovely gf.

We have folk staying with us next weekend so I must check all the bedding is aired and ready.

JackieO - so pleased the scan went well, your turn for a good year now.

PP - (((hugs))) and good luck with dd's party and all that giggling! lol

Catowen - sounds like you had fun and got quite a haul with your free shopping!

Hester - hope you get some rest soon

Princess pixie - hope ds1 is now feeling better (((hugs)))

(((hugs))) to mrs mix, jayward, smoky and all who could use one

have a lovely day even if it pours down

    Catz x
