    Morning all

Not read the end of yesterday's thread. Hope all is well and hugs to all who are feeling bad.

BETHEEBEE hugs to you and your DB, how worrying for you all.
SQUIGGLY hugs to you and your DD for today.

BIG HUGS to anyone else who wants one.

It's cloudy and windy today. Today is the anniversay of my Step-Sons death. Not sure what we are doing but think it will be a quiet one.

    Have a good day all.

VickyA - did you do all your exercises on the plane? It might just be a bit of fluid retention after the journey, but I would either call NHS Direct or try & see your GP, stressing the long-haul flight to the receptionist to get in quickly.

Yes, I did all my exercises on the plane. :) I'd forgotten about NHS Direct. Thanks for the reminder.

    Morning all :hello:

Thinking of you Beth, Jannyannie, Squiggly and Miss Squiggly. xxx

Girls are back to school. The strikes don't seem to have affected us much so they didn't get an extra day off. We slipped back into routine fairly easily this morning. I just can't believe that they're going into Primary 3.

I don't go back to the office tommorrow so I want to sort out the girls' rooms in preparation for decorating at the weekend. Have a pretty large ironing basket to get through to, as per.....

Yoghurt maker is full again and BM is on for dough for rolls. Have just peeled the spuds for tea which I'll mash and add HG scallions to, and we'll have with sausages, HG broad beans and spinach.

My clubcard vouchers came with 3 x £4 off a £30 spend and I have one more NOTW voucher to use so I want to go and do more stocking up today. We've never had so much food in the house but it should make future store cupboard challenges easy enough.

Off to make the beds and clean the bathroom. For all my moaning about them, it's really very quiet here without my girls. :o

    Morning all,

Its overcast here again, but no rain as yet, dd is off into town with my sis today, so I have a free day :j , will try and get in the garden as long as the rain holds off. I got most of dd's uniform yesterday £20 for a navy jumper  , it has to be from the specalist shop, and has a red band around the neck, they did not have her size in skirt so will have to go back next week, also got some brilliant shoes for her, they are flat, sensible comfortable lace ups, she went straight to them and said she liked them, I seriously nearly fainted  , we always argue about school shoes, they were £33 but well worth it, they are 'vans' trainers and apparantly VERY trendy, they just look sensible to me :D , so we were both pleased.

I also found a little card shop with a sale, so grabbed a load of beautiful cards for 50p each.

Beth Hugs to you and your DB hope all goes well. What a nice mum you are cooking for your dd, when I worked full time my mum cooked for us once a week, and boy did I love those nights xxx

Candy hope all ok with you xx

    Smoky hugs to you xx

Squiggly, hope all goes as well as it can today xx

Ageandjo, good news re your oh xx

Its my dear dads birthday today, so will pop up there at some point to see him, and its my sisters birthday tomorrow, so an expensive time  .

My friend has gone in today to have a ceserian (sp), and is expecting a girl, so hope all goes well there.

Well beter get on, dd has requested a sausage sandwich for breakfast so will go and get that on, she is still asleep, but is going out with sis at 11, so better get her up.

    Have good days all xx

Hi all, been AWOL for a few days, sorry :) work is phasing me a bit, so I'm sorry if I'm not quite with it. All is fairly quiet here - working not as hard as I should be and every time i think I'm close to the end, something else appears. Was sleepwalking for the first time in a few years last night - woke up in the kitchen slightly injured, but nothing a roll of elastoplast won't sort out :( Not a good thing, and a usual indicator that I'm a bit stressed. OH's ex-wife has just had her residency applications turned down, which is going to cause massive problems for us :( I can't see why her immigration solicitor did the applications like that - even someone with no legal knowledge in that field would have seen that potential problem - I know it was my first thought even on the limited bits of info OH had. OH wants to apply for ILR himself, so the documents aren't available at the moment for her anyway *sigh* Another solicitors appointment we can't afford on Thursday about his divorce :(

Beth - hugs for you and your family
Squiggly - hope all goes well for you today
Stef - hope it stays dry for you! have a great time :) Wish I was going this year :)
Hester - best of luck in getting your H&S stuff sorted.

have a good day all, and hugs for those that need them, cel x

    Morning peeps

Yippee :j :j the water is back on !!!

Betheebee you are so right, it was water water everywhere abour an hour ago but now it`s just in the house as the taps are working but outside the rain has stopped. I`m going to put the washing that has been hanging around everywhere outside for a nice change. ((((HUGS)))) for you and DB2, as squiggly said fingers crossed that it`s something minor. I think that he is making the best decision to tell everyone and he wll probably feel quite relieved once it`s been done.

Squiggly ((((HUGS)))) for you and your DD today.

    JackieO - enjoy your "snip":D

Sybil - Hope little bear isn`t too wriggly at the barbers.

Well i have tons of housework to be done and unfortunately the oven is going to be on a lot today, i think i`ll take a before and after meter reading just out of interest but i have saved lots of things to cook at once so hopefully some savings to be made there, i have also got to have the hoover out later as i`ve been sweeping everywhere for the last few days and with the hounds moulting at the moment it`s been quite a challenge:eek:

I`m off to catch up with the last bit of yesterdays thread and then i`ll make a start.

    Have a lovely day peeps.
