Are you not entitled to any respite shaz? Surely you must be. Nearly every parent in my school gets some - some a little bit; some loads. I even do respite for two kids myself via Direct Payments. You may have to fight a bit for it but your GP should back you up.
daniel's school is resedential, so i get respite mon, to fri term times
tried social services, and got nothing for daniel, and just two hours a week, for his twin joshua, who has same probs, and no after school activities
enjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)

Thats what this thread is for. I think you should come here every time you need to, especially in the week you have got ahead. Hopefully, it will go smoothly for you. My youngest daughter is special needs and, although not that bad (especially now she is 18), she did cause me a lot of stress when she was younger. So I can sympathise and understand what it must be like for you. Hugs and best wishes ((())).

My post from last night has gone

Nothing that was said was even close to the bone

Anyway, my cat still isn't right, although vet said use the drops for a few days and go back during the week if doesn't get better.

Very worried about her :( She's happy and go lucky as normal, but it's not right. I don't think she has long left and i've got 5 of them that are going to go at some point in the near future.

I think it will finish me off. I don't deal with death well (who does?). After my partner and daughter, I said i'd never get close again. I know people will say 'they are just cats, but they are individuals who I have been extremely close too for 14 years when humans let me down time after time.

Just the thought of losing them makes me tearful.

Try thinking of it as the beginning of new life.

There are secret spies at MSE HQ and they think we know too much?

    I have no idea.

I'm taking my cat back to the vets this afternoon as i'm very worried about her.

She didn't come and see me all night which is unusual and I had to get out of bed a few times to find her and see if she was okay. She was under my bed the whole time, yet this morning she seems as happy as usual, just with poorly eye still.

I'm just hoping she comes home tonight.
