How to cancel Setanta Sports

My payment are taken on the 22nd. They did not take yesterdays payment. Have cancelled the DD now.

I (stupidly?) had paid in December 2008 for the annual internet service up front, so I have lost a bit more than a monthly subscription, I think it is just a case of writing to the Administrators to get try and get the unlikley refund? Anyone know the address?

UK setanta channels are now off. Cancelled DD earlier today. But Setanta Ireland is still broadcasting in Ireland.

Or should I say. All GB based Setanta channels are off....EXCEPT Setanta Ireland in Northern Ireland.

I'm not paying for an Irish channel when NI is part of UK.

If Setanta Ireland want payment for receiving 20% of a company that 80% of it has gone under for £12.99 they can kiss my a**.

So if someone has paid the annual subscription a month ago, they have lost the lot. Harsh.

I found out on this thread a couple of weeks ago that our annual subscription was a recurring payment and that we had not right to cancel it! It was due to be deducted on the 15th June so I immediately emailed Setanta cancelling our subscription and hot footed it to the bank and cancelled the debit card so they could not take the money. Thank goodness cause I don't imagine we had a hope in hells chance of getting a penny of that money back.

Arsenal TV and liverpool TV still broadcasting.? they were included with setanta when i joined up. wonder whats gonna happen to them.

Also sorry for those who lost there jobs, All the people in the call centres were allways realy polite and helpful, i think they just didnt have the power to do anything administrative which is where the company fell down. The people higher up and at the top couldnt even manage there customers efficiently, so they had little chance of managing anything else.
