Sunnyday - microfibre towels are wonderful! They wash really easily (but don't use fabric conditioner), dry in no time and are absolutely the bees knees when it comes to drying things. They are the most marvellous tea towels and hand towels, I got mine from Lakeland and they have washed, dried, been used and have been absolutely amazing for many years. I was given some microfibre bath towels from TJHughes and they are the most efficient bath towels ever.
You may gather that I think microfibre towels are useful.
Don't just save them for doggies (although dear friends need good towels as well) but I would seriously recommend them for human people as well. If they have any more in the pound shop I would definitely stock up, and I may pop into my local pound shop this weekend just to check for any to get for 'spares'Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

mioliere - I meant to ask yesterday, but I forgot. 1 boob? You made a boob?
Hi oldMcdonald! Yes, I made a boob. You may know of our charity knitting thread on here? Well, we are also members of www.lovinghands.org.uk and they are running a Pimp my Boob competition which arose from a scheme for knitting breasts which are used to help teach people how to breast feed. Someone on their forum sent in a knitted breast but decided to put a face on it first. This gave Lou, the group's leader, the idea of asking people to send in knitted breasts decorated any way we want. They will be judged then used to raise money for charity. There's an easy pattern you can ask for and the breasts are very realistic. Mine has been sitting on my coffee table and has become a conversation stopper! In fact, my BIL has asked for a pair for Christmas! (Yes, he is a bit strange!)

Thank you AnnieBL, VickyA & Troo--- I couldn't even begin to figure out what it meant. I like it!! lol...
SD, you haven't been standing outside catching the rain then?? You don't realise how much you miss running water till you haven't got it....
Glimpses of blue sky outside, still drinking tea & trying to get myself moving. Middle DD wants to go into town - but not for anything particular. Might take niecelet up to my mum's then go in for a little while after that. Have a freecycler coming around 3 for the last couple of items (for now
).
Maybe I might begin to tackle my craft stuff so I can actually do something before I go back to Uni (7 weeks left, aargh) after which I will have no life & no time for anything until next June.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)
