Bigbird - thought you had kicked the Pilates addiction and was amazed as I didn't realise it was so addictive - on reading more carefully I see it's Pirates.
Hope everyone's having a good evening. I'm off to lie on the settee and read. Well, someone's got to do it

Sorry Susie, I had to laugh at this - I told you that you should have another baby, so the kids could tag team each other! :rotfl: Hope the boys all enjoyed their days at school / nursery. :j
Hope everyone is having as good a day as they can. Weather was drizzly and misty all day: rumour has it we're due some good weather for the weekend, but I'll believe that when I see it!
Nothing much special happened today - work as usual, and then used up some frying steak that I had in the fridge for tea: cut it up into little pieces and did an 'all-in-one' with new potatoes and some frozen peas
It was very nice and I'm avoiding the lure of the icecream in the freezer (for now)
Making a list of everything I need to do this week, and hoping for some inspiration for a birthday card I need to make - maybe I should go and have a look thorugh my craft boxes and see if anything catches my eye
Also making up a meal plan for the rest of the week: I have a few vouchers to use so must go shopping when I get some time - maybe at the end of the week. Will stock up the freezer a bit anyway
*hugs* to all0 -
haha squish:rolleyes: its time you were adding to the family, 3 is enough for me:rotfl:
kids not long in bed, they wanted to watch stargate atlantis with me, so stayed til 9 then sent them off to bed, they will be shattered tomorrow!
dh still being annoying, keeps phoning me up from his work!

Hello all, my first time in here and I've only skimmed some of the posts, but a question caught my eye and I can answer it!
Floss, you asked how to make walnut bread. I had a go at making this because hubby loves the walnut bread in Mr S's. His verdict was that it tasted just the same!
I used my basic recipe (500g wholemeal bread flour, 1 teaspoon each of salt, yeast and sugar, about 350mls water and 1 tablespoon of oil) but where I normally use olive oil, I used walnut oil (also good for salad dressings and using as a moisturiser!) and added a couple of handfuls of chopped walnuts.
Hope this helps!0 -
Evening all
I've read the whole thread in one go for once so my poor brain's a bit addled - it doesn't take much
vickyA - your new zealand photos are fantastic - just been having a look at them on facebook - dbro emigrated there from holland - the scenery's a bit different to what they[re used to
silvercharming that's awful about your site and i hope dave is feeling better
hugs PP and beth and anyone else who'd like one
dd(11)'s trip to canada has been a real boost to her ocnfidence - I overslept this morning and suggested she lie in and then go to her sister's later. She did just that whereas in the past she hasn't even liked me to take the rubbish to the gate without stressing out.
Mr Caring Sharing has picked up dd - they are off to France tomorrow, camping for three days outside paris and then going on to a gite ... er somewhere. just got a call from him asking where the eff the effing air beds are. erm right where I put them and pointed at them and told him not to forget them - apparantly it's too effing late to come all the effing way to pick the effers up - oh dear - sweet dreams all round then
My ticket for Reading has arrived - yay yay yay - well I have to go to the post office on my way to w*rk tomorrow to get it but i was getting a bit worried. dbro and dfriends are going tomorrow and will space their tents out so I have room for mine with a bit of budging up
have a good night

Back with some of the omissions from earlier post:
JackieO...great news;
Aussie.....would watch the weight gain...;
Dazi....have you tried a wine shop...they would sometimes have boxes hanging around...don't offer to pay for it....act the eejit (sorry, fool!) and only pay if they ask for money, there would probably be some print on it, but you can sand it off fairly easily, or give the whole box a base coat of some suitable colour.
Snowy....how did the interview go?
Judi24....welcome to bedlam!!
Stefjb...could you not have left the effing things where he would have fallen over them and broken his effing neck??
Hugs to jayward, Smoky, anniestar, KAAT lady and anyone else I have omitted...not deliberate I assure you
Night all,
