    Evening folks,

Not much rain here to-day...haven't done much, went with DD4 to choose a new laptop...not sure why she asked me to go, as she had already decided which one she wanted and I could have done with some time in the garden...still, was nice to get away from the house for a while.

DD4 has just threatened to tie DGS2 down so that he won't kill himself....he doesn't have a 'slow' speed button and has banged himself in the face on two occasions recently and currently looks like a child who has gone several rounds in the ring with a professional boxer! He has now fallen and cut his knee outside...I know how she feels DS2 was always missing bits!

Roast chicken and veg for dinner, OH will be starving soon but the kitchen is full of children so am not going out there just yet.

Hugs to all who are having trouble of any kind and welcome to the newbies

Have had a weird day today - got into work to find that we had very few PC's & no phones (:))due to a power cut last night...but they came back (:() but then I seemed to just tread water all day, and didn't actually achieve very mush ....think I might have to have an early start tomorrow to get stuck in.

Mioliere Love the boob-photo! We do seem to have a bit of a theme going today, don't we, what with your knitting & LameWolf's need of new scaffolding ;)

Kaat_Lady Please can you post the walnut bread recipe.....I love it but begrudge buying it in Mr T's when we have a MR bm.....don't know if DF has a recipe for it....

WMF I've found the Ian Rankin programme again - it's on at midnight tonight so unless Sir Richard's cables go peculiar again, then I can record it :D

I really need to do some ironing tonight...have got a load of celebrity Masterchefs still to watch (and yes, I know who won!) so I might just put them on & steam away with a glass of wine!

floss,,I used to but it at MrT's but then I thought well if they can do it so can I

I just do the basic white bread recipe for the BM,, and when the fruit beep goes off ..I add sesame seeds ,,pumpkin seeds and walnuts,(broken up) and it tastes gorgeous,,if I dont put sesame seeds in its not as nice,,I would say a tablespoon of each,,maybe a half more of walnuts

I add a lot os different seeds for seedy bread,,but not caraway seeds as Mrs mc suggested once ,, as I dont really like them,

I get the seeds at a chinese cash & carry,, they are a lot cheaper and the walnuts

Back again going out soon so just thought I`d pop in here and catch up,ooo so many pages

OldMcDonald Lou from Loving hands is conscious out of intensive care and is now on a ward, but it is going to be a long haul, as she will need reconstruction to her face eventually, and sadly only has one eye now as the other one was removed after her accident due to the infection that set in. She is a lovely caring lady and started the L/H site, (the same as Kathy started the Wooligans)

Kathy your fame is spreading  :T
    Pixie O well done :T

silvercharming hope the patient recovers soon :D

Got to go, off to a friends for a white or 2 ;)

Enjoy the rest of the evening everyone

HI all - my boobs have never been famous - until now! I've just had a bath and they're still there!

Whilst we're still on that theme, I recorded a programme called The Perfect Vagina the other day and watched it today while I was ironing. I told DH about it and now he wants to watch it!

    Have a great evening.

Evening all. Hugs to all those not having such a good day today, and anyone else who needs/wants one. Congrats to pixiedust on your blog :D

I keep seeing remoskas mentioned and would love to get one as they sound brilliant. Bit out of our budget at the moment tho :( Something like that would be ideal to go on our wedding list next year - since OH and I have lived together for 2 years, and each had our own place for a few years before that, we already have pretty much all the housy stuff we need. Don’t think Lakeland do a wedding list service tho, so not sure how we’d go about it.

Keeping my fingers crossed the weather will improve as I’m off work next week. We’ve got a tree surgeon coming round next Wednesday to prune a neighbours tree that’s overhanging our garden and also take away 2 dead trees - I really don’t want them to be rained off and have to reschedule for a day when I’m not all organised for being home.

It would also be nice to reclaim my conservatory for sitting in, rather than being used as the laundry drying area.
It’s my birthday next Tuesday and I am hoping to be able to celebrate by getting trollied on Wednesday:beer:. I got diagnosed with a blood clot in my leg a few months ago and have been on medication which means I am limited to 1 unit of alcohol a day. I have to see the doctor on Wednesday afternoon and am hoping to be able to come off the meds - then go out and celebrate. To be honest, I’m not a huge drinker anyway and after having my intake limited for the past 4 months I’ll probably be trashed after a couple of drinks!!:rotfl: (And I do realise I am very lucky to have an end in sight to my medical problems - big hugs to anyone to anyone struggling with ongoing conditions)

Better get off now as need to call my Mum. She’s good friends with my old primary school teacher and a friend has asked me to ask Mum to ask the teacher if it’s OK to put a picture of her on Facebook on the group that’s been set up for our old primary school. I told her she’d better make sure there are no rude comments made else I’m sure Mrs R would have no hesitation in giving me a slap on the legs, even if I am a good foot taller than her these days!!! And what is going on with Facebook? I find it so confusing now they’ve changed it all around. I do try to stay off it these days tho, now that I’ve finally kicked my Pirates addiction.:o

    Sorry for waffling! :o
