The only real 'Honest' use of this facility would be to edit the coupons and remove the 'banners' so that you could get several coupons on the same page like couponet used to do. Other than that it is a no no cos as already stated the coupons would all have the same serial number, if you say it didn't print it issues a new serial number so it is unique in that respect so that is a 'fair' fiddle. Every 'virtual' printer that I have tried has not worked as the software always says that the printer is unsupported.....maybe I've been over thinking it but I gave up and just accept the waste of paper......Do others reuse their paper and print two back to back (And upside down IYSWIM) and are T's funny with them? I always only put one per piece of paper but I would like to half the wastage if possible!

How do you remove the headers, as i am going through loads in ink? I remember once all my coupons printed on one sheet with no headers. I wasn't sure if it was something i did, or couponnet did.

There is an easy way to check how much will be deducted at the till. Look at the barcode on your coupon. Ignore the very last digit, its the previous 3 digits that are important as they give you the coupon value.

ie, if your barcode ends in 0623 - the coupon will scan at 62p
Barcode ending 2506 will scan at £2.50
If the barcode is 0001, that means the amount has to be input manually at the till, usually for a free item, so it is usually better to just make the most of your freebie with these.

Wow, just checked my coupons and it was there staring me in the face all along. Thanks for this info.

My For goodness shakes coupon (free bottle) has 0007 at the end, so i assume this is similar to 0001, and it will ask for the price.

Did they give you a no7 voucher and skin care one. Mine did, as the voucher counted as cash.
Yeah - got one of those as well - couldn't use it though - cheapest thing was £19.99 surprise surprise.
A colleague went in this lunchtime and they said the offer had ended for the £1 off but they honoured it "this time" but no more.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
  • went to tescos today (not my normal tesco extra where they are uber cool about coupons)but a normal one. Went to self checkout and told the lady i would be using coupon, fine she said.
Except when i went to scan them in and took out my bundle she told me she "had to check".
I waited 20 VERY embarassing minutes for the on duty manager to come down and tell me that they DO NOT accept ANY coupons except for the tesco clubcard reward ones. quoted the policy with no luck and in the end just left my shopping (why pay when i can get it half price down the road?)

As its getting a little embarrassing using the same Tesco all the time with my many coupons, thought I'd try a new one. Got to the checkout with my News of the World coupon plus £10 worth of others but the assistant would only take 3 coupons - said I was only allowed 10% in coupons. Not deterred I decided to go round again with another batch, went to another checkout and the same thing happened. I then went to customer service to check their policy and was told definitely 10% only! I will be going back to my normal Tesco from now on.

Yeah, most of their offers ended yesterday. I found an item reduced from £40 to £20 today. At the till, they said it came of offer yesterday, but they honoured it.

And most of the items that were free with the vouchers got snapped up days ago. I think Boots avoided restocking until they were all used up.

Someone said that superdrug now have mitchums on offer, but they come up free with the coupon. If thats true, best to buy something else aswell.
  • have printed 1 page of each of the coupons on No190 of this thread.
Found a self scanner at a little Tesco metro the £1 mitchim didnt scan.
has any one had any luck with coupons scanning in the self serve tills ? These coupons or any others as this would save a lot of embarassement.
    Many thanks for any info.

I actually wanted some deodrant and Mitchum was on special at Tesco at £1.85 purchased that and two items for double the difference reward.I handed a black and white printed Mitchum coupon over and the cashier held it in the air to show fellow cashier shouting "does this look dodgy to you?".
Supervisor then came and stated they do not accept photocopies, I explained that printed in black and white otherwise the cost of printing would be more than the coupon value. Supervisor then stated "in anycase we do not accept internet coupons", I showed her the policy I had and she called the department manager. Manager stated "we do not accept internet coupons", I suggested they should read their own policy. Manager confidentally went off to phone customer service. He returned rather sheepishly stating that he has been told that he must accept it and he plans to cascade this at the next team meeting!!

On a more satisfying note purchased 2 digital kitchen scales for £40 the shelf edge stated £10 each so recieved double the difference ie £40 back and kept the scales. Oh revenge is sweet!!

enter name and email, play the game, lose and you can print off 25p off swan filters :D

These look particularly impressive if you print the second one on the back of the first one but upside down (IYSWIM) - Prints the swan logo perfectly on the back of the moc! If only they all lined up this perfectly :D
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
